I have attended my interview at Mumbai, Can I submit my passport at Hyderabad or it must be at Mumbai?
Please let me know if anyone submitted their documents at different location other than their Interview consulate.

Attended interview on 11, Sep 2019. I gave a client letter and answered the questions. VO asked me about detail project description document. I have not carried it. VO asked me again. She gave me 221 g blue slip asking my petitioner to submit the documents.
On 20th Sep my petitioner submitted the documents to the Chennai email Id mentioned in the letter. Just waiting for the response from the US consulate office.
30-Sep-2019: I received an email to submit my passport along with email copy. No other documents are requested.
04-Oct-2019: Submitted my passport with an email copy in Bangalore VFS office. Staff informed me it would take 3 weeks max.

Visa Officer asked a few basic questions about why I was going to the US? What kind of job? How did I find the job? What are the roles in my current job?
Then he mentioned something about SEVIS records needs to be corrected and said will take 2-3 business days and gave me 221g with the first box checked and passport retained with the consulate.
Anyone here faced the same situation?
The first box text reads "You will receive further instructions at the e-mail address you provided in your application. If you did not provide an email address, or if you do not hear from us within five business days, you should e-mail us at [email protected]. You can track the status of your case by going to CEAC and entering your case number."
