I had an H1B visa interview on 13 Jun 2019. VO asked me some basic questions like client name, salary, work location, and kind of work I will be doing. I have H4 stamped in my passport, but I never traveled to the US before. Once VO saw H4 stamped in my passport he started asking a question about my wife H1B and finally he gave me a yellow slip asking me to submit my wife W2 form, my 5-year salary slip, and bank statement and some other H1b documents.
I have submitted all the documents on 16 June and not heard back anything since then. I am also not sure if they have contacted my client manager for client verification.
Anybody has any idea if client verification happens in every case?
I hope I will hear something soon.

I have attended interview on 11-Sep. After giving answer of some basic questions, I received I221g yellow receipt asking for Client Letter, Manager Letter and project SOW. All required documents are submitted via email to Mumbai Consulate. There is no response yet and USCICS website status is not updated (it shows older status about RFE received).
Please guide me on where to check the status and how I will get the next response, via email or they will inform to my Company directly etc.

I am eligible for Dropbox so I dropped my passport on 13th Jun, on 19th June received an email asking me to schedule an in-person interview. On the day of the interview i.e 25th June, I was issued a 221G white slip. 4 hours after the interview received an email asking me to submit DS5535. Submitted the same day. A day after received an email to pick up the passport. Collected passport along with 221G white slip.
21st July - No update yet
29th Aug - Received an email to submit passport
12th Sept - Issued.

My spouse had his interview on Aug 1 and received a blue slip 221g for the end client letter. Employer/ attorney provided requested documents after one week in August. We again received a new email asking some more documents like MSA, again supportive documents being provided to them in Sepetember. The case date had not been updated then and it was showing AP. In October 1st week they said yes they received the documents with two confusing emails and the employer again sent the asked documents. We thought they were working on the case but it was still showing AP. Now they updated the case in the last week of October but the employer sounded negative that the visa may got rejected because it is a federal project and one can not live outside America more than 30 days if working on a Federal project. Now the question arises if visa gets denied due to this what are the other ways to reapply for a entry. We have a approved 3 years visa.

Apr 25 - Consular interview done but another blue slip issued with no document mentioned
May 3 - USCIS reached out to my client to do employment verification and other details and it has been responded on the same date
May 26 - case status is still AP
UPDATE: June 11th - As on date there's no update. Case status remain AP.
UPDATE: June 14th - I got an email from US consulate asking me to submit my passport. I have submitted it today. Fingers crossed for getting my stamping to be done.
Update: I got my passport with stamping on June 21st and traveled to USA on 25th.

Need to attended conference on aug 17th , my travel order n flight tickets are ready, working for us naval base.
My company applied visa for me and my other colleague, our interview was simple n he said visa is approved for both of you u can collect passport of 2 days , later I got a email saying they need more information n they attached ds5535 and other document saying u r case is under administrative process please fill request document and email us back , emailed next day now it's on administrative process my other colleague got visa approved after 2days , any chances tht I will get visa within a month , if no I will tell company to send some 1 else instead of me . Is it worth waiting 2 more week ???
07/23/19 still status haven’t changed , passport is still with embassy
07/29/19 no update , I am thinking ,what if my conference is done , will I still get visa since it's approved ??? Atleast I can visit next year.
