AP DACA
Hello guys, as many of you already know I applied for AP back in October 24, my case is still pending approval. Before the 90 day period passed the customer service reps told me that I could request my case to be expedited once the 90 days passed without any additional requirements. Now I called them and asked them if they could do that since they'd previously told me they could assign my case to an officer after Jan 24th and they told me that it wasn't possible because according to the uscis website my case was still within normal processing time. Now with the new executive order it's going to be harder for APs to be approved and Trump said he plans to do something with daca within the next 4 weeks so I decided I will be going to my local uscis office on Monday morning, I was going to go tomorrow but I was unable to obtain a copy of my file from my lawyer and it will be available for me until tomorrow, I'd go tomorrow but I heard that if you don't have an appointment they won't take you in unless you show up extra early. I will let you guys know how that goes.

Update on DACA
Hello Everyone,

Tomorrow on Cafe CNN an immigration lawyer here in Georgia Charles Kuck will be speaking on Trumps EO's and rumored executive orders. He will also speak on DACA and advanced parole. He's really good he fought and won to grant dacamented students in-state tuition, that is until the Board of Regents successfully appealed the final ruling. Just thought it would help to hear. Im also attaching his blog filled with breakdowns of happenings that involve immigration and DACA

Approved!!
Application received 10-11-16
After calling 3 times a nice rep expedited my case on Jan 13, 2017
The expedite was completed on 1/20/17. My case was approved 1/24/17. I'm emotional right now after not seeing my father for 11 years, under these circumstances is hard. I'm afraid to leave my daughters here but I can't take them to Mexico right now. Currently waiting for the letter. Have faith in God! Stay strong :,-)

Application
Hi guys!

I applied for advanced parole in November and got my letter in December saying it was approved. I got approved for 3 months (12-03-16 through 03-01-2017) which is such a blessing. Literally the next day from receiving the aproval I purchased tickets for me and my younger brother. It will be 15 years since I been to Ecuador my motherland. My trip will be for 2 weeks I'm traveling on Saturday (01-28-2017) and will return (02-11-2017) wish I can go for longer but I do have a job amd responsibilities to attend to. I'm so excited for this trip and so thankful with God. To anyone waiting to hear back and scared to travel don't be! I've done my research and know that everything will be okay. Best advice trust God have faith! Also once you are getting ready to travel make copies of everything your passport the traveling permission you working permit and social and leave with a trustworthy family member this is just for security purposes. Also create a folder to take with you with all documents also once you come back they will ask what ties you have here in the U.S so I'm taking my job business card I work for an optometrist and my personal business card I also do social media advertising for makeup companies just to show you're a productive member of your community and that's all. Just don't let fear consume you and enjoy your trip.

Update
Hello Everyone!

I finally heard back from USCIS regarding my request to expedite my AP. My status is now request for evidence was mailed. Previous to what another immihelp member posted stating that AP's involving non immediate family members would be denied may not be so true after all. I began my AP process okay with waiting the 90 days for approval but like I said before my aunt got really sick and thats when i decided to expedite my case. Well the request for evidence asks for new dates and to send a letter stating I still want to travel. Of course I still want to travel!!!!!!!!!! I put down I needed to leave November 11, 2016 before but obviously those date have come and gone. As soon as I send that in my case will be approved or denied. Sounds to me more like approved.

I filed for AP on October 13th
requested Expeditied processing on December 19th
Heard back from USCIS January 19th request for evidence was mailed
