I-751 California. Transferred to Lee Summit
Hi All - I got a notice in the mail that "we've completed a preliminary review of the application. As part of standard processing, we transferred your case.."
What's to be expected now? I didn't get anything about my biometrics or anything before this - directly transferd to NBC. Is this a good thing??

Here's my timeline:

9/12/2020: I-751 Application recieved by USCIS
9/15/2020: Recd notice granting 18 months extension (California Service Center)

Nothing since 9/15 until today about the transfer.

Any thoughts/experiences would be GREATLY appreciated - I am nervous AF.

Submitting i-751 case soon
Hi All,

My husband and I (USC) will be sending the i-751 documents to USCIS on Jan 25th, 2021. I have 2 questions:

1) If you received an RFE, what document did you have to send them?

2) I'm seeing a couple of posts about how some people haven't received their NOA (notice of action), and they filed in Nov/Dec of 2020. Is this something that's increasing?

Hubby's GC expires April 24th of 2021.

RFE Received
Nebraska service center received my RFE on Nov 24th, 2020. I haven’t heard anything since then. Does anyone know how long before I hear something? And if it’s taking this long, does it usually mean I’ll need an interview?

Question regarding Tax Filing,
Does it cause an issue when removing the conditions for a 2 year green and applying for a 10 year green card that we file our taxes separately ? My step son is currently getting a scholarship based on my wife's income and he will lose it if we add my income and file together. For that purpose we are considering filing the taxes separately but wanted to make sure it will not be an issue when filing for I-751.

Infopass passport stamping
Hello friends,
I have upcoming appoinment for infopass passport stamping because my 18 months extension is expiring. But I have no urgent reasons such as travel, employment or driver license renewal. So in that circumstances, what if USCIS won’t stamp my passport? Will it affect my status?
Please advice
Thanks

Hello All

My wife and I filed a joint I 751 to Phoenix Arizona on Dec. 1st. Tracking states it was delivered Dec. 7th. Our checks have not been cashed to date and it’s going on 6 weeks. We are stressed to the max as the conditional green card is expiring in a month. We understand given COVID that there might be a delay, but 6 weeks is a long wait.

Called customer service but they are not able to provide info without a receipt number. Emailed and it states they will not respond to questions concerning I 751.

Anyone having the same problem/delay with the Arizona office? Any suggestions/recommendations? This is taking a toll on our mental health!

Thank you for listening.
