My i485 just update to rfe sent. Wth? After it has been 2months since I replied to the first one and didnt get any update? This is pure wickedness and I guess the enjoy torturing us as if the waiting isn't enough. I'm praying it's for my medical which I didnt submit.

Hey Guys,
My frustration had peaked its limit. Since I filed in May using a lawyer who was so inept that everyday felt like a regret. My first I-765 was rejected. Lawyer took a month to refile it and then USCIS took another month to send my receipt. This whole process delayed my EAD by 2-3 months.
To make matters worse, lost job right after end of STEM EAD in July and then came health issues (could be triggered by mild symptoms of depression); had to go through two surgeries due to health reasons and then came RFE for birth certificate which was send to USCIS in the first place along with all my applications i485, i765, i130 USC based. Lawyer asked for more money to send RFE which she should have checked in the first place.
Then tried to expedite EAD using job offer letter; to begin work in August. No hope. Nobody replied back, no acceptance, no denial, nothing ... nada ... zero; even spoke with Tier 2 officer before Thanksgiving at NBC and she wasn't helpful at all.
Waited and was hoping to wait even more seeing others who were going through similar ordeals.
Then, 20 minutes ago ...
1) We are ready to schedule your Form i-485 for an interview
2) We Scheduled an interview for your Form i-485. We will mail you an interview notice.
3) We have approved your Form i-765 EAD. We ordered your card to be produced.
I am not sure if USCIS is playing pranks on me. But it feels like your Doctor said you were having a kid and then came triplets. I am not even believing what I am seeing right now! I am gonna play $20 lottery tonight.
I won't believe all this until I see my EAD Card and an Interview notice.
I will be posting updates. Good luck to June filers, hopefully you will get it like mine before Valentine's Day to enjoy with your beloved, frustration free.

Vermont filler since 02/25/2019
I fill since 02/25/2019,and I did BIOMETRIC 03/27/2019,since then I dont see any mail from Vermont center on my application, I call the customer center they said my information can't pump out on they're system, so they can't see any information that I need to write Vermont center what happen to my application. which I did since November. Till now I haven' get anything special from them please kindly advice me what next can I do .

EAD receipt
hi all,
I filled my application on 1/06/2020 via fedex first priority. I check and it received on 1/07/2020 at California office.
Until now 1/21/2020 I have not receive my receipt number and the check have not yet cashed.
It's been 2 weeks and I am getting anxious is it normal they take this long. Is there anyone who experience similar with me?

Awaiting scheduled interview
Hi all,
I received an update on the USCIS website that states
"As of January 16, 2020, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence"
I think my field office is in Boston, does anyone know how long this takes roughly? Also, there has been no update on my EAD, only this update.
Can anyone advise or point me in the right direction as to the next steps and potential time frame.

Expediting I-765

I am so so confused.
PD: 08/26/2019 (I-485, I-765, I-131 (Married to LPR))
I took help from local congressman to expedite I-765 on 01/09/2020. I haven't received any response till now. Last week I called USCIS and the agent told me that she don't see any Expedite request from Congressman on my case. She then on the spot put in expedite request. Since then my status was only showing "Expedite Request is received." I reached out to USCIS again today and the agent told me that she can see response on my request regarding expedite to send additional documents. However, I never got an email from USCIS, neither my status updated online!!!
She provided me the fax number "816-251-2290, Attn: **** , Div5 Tm3" and when I asked should I provide the Reference number with the documents, she said you don't need to!
Anyone else with similar experience?? Also, what are these **** in Attn??

Today my case status changed to “case transferred to another office” (after service request-outside of normal processing time). Does anyone know what that means? Any experiences will be appreciated! Thanks.
