STEM OPT while GC EAD pending

I've seen a lot of posts about people being confused about STEM OPT while C9 EAD is pending. So I want to share my experience. I filed C9 EAD on 07/05/2019 and have been waiting since. Now my initial OPT EAD is expiring today i.e. 01/14/2020. While different people were giving a different opinion, I still filed for the STEM extension on 11/13/2019 since I wanted 180 days of automatic extension to keep my job. Whenever I called USCIS, their agent always told me to withdraw my application since I have GC EAD pending and I can't get 2 EADs but kept it anyway. On 01/10/2019, my STEM extension was approved and I'll soon get my EAD. So please disregard the rumors that you're not eligible for F1 status benefits because you are (until you use GC EAD/AP)!

what happens at USCIS, stays in USCIS
My first i765 was submitted in May. Coming from OPT, lawyer didn't know how to handle my i765 and my first application was rejected. Then came second filing which reached USCIS in June, but the highschoolers from USCIS didn't open my application till July and kept my application in their locker room.
Raised 2 expedite request citing job offers: highschool graduates have decided to toss my application somewhere in their trash. Maybe they made paperplanes? Who knows what they do?
only positive aspect of all these is I am getting plenty of time to get certification to boost my career and make even more money down the road. Thanks to USCIS, I am sharpening my career skills along with my video game skills. Also, my future employer and my past employers are ready to hire me immediately with bonuses upon successful AoS. My high paying job is guaranteed. But same cannot be said about these highschool kids at USCIS.

Hi guys, I am getting my combo card based on 485.
However, my current OPT ead expires on Feb 13th,

I Expedite I 765 process got Denied by saying you did provide emergent loss.

EAD Renewal
Applied L1 and L2 in June and got my L2 approval on November 15th( went to California center)did my finger print on July 16th.
I have applied my L2 EAD on 19th August and went to Vermont center still online status is : Your case is received on 19th August.
I have contacted congressman and they told me to filed privacy release form and after 1 month they got response from Vermont center that- you case is under processing time.
Is this Normal about status- Your case is received?

Travel while stem-opt ext is pending.
I am traveling from 15 February to 15 March to India for my marriage. My post-completion OPT is expiring on 14 February 2020. I have already applied for Stem-OPT Extension and I have received the receipt notice from USCIS stating that My case has been received on 11 December 2019. What kind of documents should I carry While traveling to India as my post completing opt will be expiring on 14 February 2020 and It might be possible that when I am traveling to India my Stem-OPT extension application will still be under pending status. Can you please advise me on this situation?

I am a silent member but this group keeps me going every day. It encourages me when I see people's cases being approved. I have a question.
Last friday 10th Jan my ead changed to "new card being produced". Today my status changed to "case approved", is this the normal sequence of events because I am a bit confused. What are other people's experiences? My EAD is based on pending i485. Thanks
