L2 EAD Vermont Service Center - New EAD Application
Hi everyone,
I have submitted my I-765 on 1st of October at Vermont Service Center. When I look at the case status online then it just says "Case received".
Is it normal that there are no changes to the status for 3 months? Is there any other way to find out whether your case is being processed?

L2 EAD Vermont Service Center renewal 2019 fillers
Hi Guys,
I have submitted the renewal of EAD in 2019 @ Vermont Service Center. Any one here waiting for EAD renewals and what dates they are getting the EADs/processing times.
Website suggests 5.5 months - 7.5 , but still would like to hear from real applicants and their experiences.

May Filer Waiting on EAD
Hello everyone, I’ve been reading on this forum for about a month. I’m seeing people filed in September getting their work permits. As well as June filers asking if anyone is still waiting having filed prior. To answer this question- waiting since May 01, 2019. No RFE, no updates other than “fingerprints were applied to your case”. No reply to Service Request, less than a week ago filed 2nd SR. No news so far. I can’t possibly imaging what could cause such a backlog on my case. I have an I-130 approved, as I filed it in Jan 2018. Upon calling USCIS I’ve been told case is awaiting judicator’s review. I guess if no reply will be received to my second service request, I will have to contact congressman. It’s been over 8 months...If anyone is waiting filed May or prior, please let me know, I just want to know I am not the only one. Peace 🤞

I-765 EAD Question
Hi,
I'm currently waiting on my documents (filed on Nov 4th) and went for my Biometrics on Dec 4.
I'm not sure if anyone will know this but I thought I would give it a shot.
I currently live in MA, and was looking to get a drivers license. However, it states you need proof of lawful presence and that you will be staying in the US for over 2 years.
The reason I want to obtain a drivers license is so that I'm not limited to a work location when I FINALLY get my EAD!
At the moment due to ultimately being in no mans land, we don't have any documents to prove this right?
So I guess my question is, is it really that bad that I can't even get a drivers license?
This whole process is really frustrating! I feel like my life is fully on hold (I've actually been here since Aug) but was unable to file until Nov - stupid move in hindsight!

Interview
Once your interview gets scheduled, does the status online and in the "case tracker" app change from "case is ready to be scheduled" to something else, such as "interview scheduled"? Or is the mail that you recieve the ONLY notification?

Taking forever to expedite a ead
I request a expedite ead on Dec 26, 2019 and faxed the information they requested on the 31st. I keep calling and they keep saying that the information wasn't applied to my case. I really need to be working..

Been a silent reader for a while but y’all gave me hope when there was nothing to be hopeful about. So I decided to speak up also. Finally got approved after 165 days.
Pd date: July 26th
Scheduled for interview sept 24th
January 3rd your case for I-765 and I-131 was approved.
January 7th your card was mailed to you.
Now I’m checking the mail from tomorrow.

STEM OPT while GC EAD pending
Hello,
Has anybody received STEM OPT EAD while their i-765 pending with the C9 category? I have a pending GC EAD and I've applied for STEM EAD since my initial 1 year OPT EAD is expiring soon. So just wondering if that will be accepted or not.
