EAD for VAWA (initial or renewal?)

I am preparing for my VAWA application and I have some questions about my EAD.
After dating for three years, I got married in May 2019 and very soon my husband started to reveal his true colors. He started to abuse me verbally, psychologically, and emotionally. He tried to attack me once in Oct 2019 and that was the moment I woke up from this abusive relationship.
We are currently separated and the judge granted me a protective order to get away from him. I receive my EAD card in late Nov and started my job in early Dec. I need to keep my job to make a living. However, my attorney seems not sure about my EAD card status.
My current EAD card is a combo card under the c(9) category (pending I-485). I am very confused about EAD card for VAWA. It seems a lot people apply I-765 & I-131 along with their VAWA I-360 application. But the USCIS instruction document says I-765 is only valid for approved VAWA.
My questions are:
1. Should I just renewal my current EAD card every year? Or, should I re-submit a new I-765 to initial a new EAD under c(31) VAWA category?
2. If all I need to do is the renew my EAD every year, when should I renew it? My current EAD card will expire in the end of Dec 2020.
Because of the EAD card status, I am currently very nervous. Hope someone can help me with it.

Expediting EAd
Hey friends , i am married to a USC and filled my documents in Sep for 485, 130, 765 and still haven't got any respond. My husband was in the Military and might have to go for surgery this month, he wont be able to work as required. Does any of you think thats a good reason to expedite my EAD? And if so whats the no. i have to call to speak to the right person . It seems like i will have to be the one to work. Please help a sister out

Hi everyone, just wanted to share that today my EAD status finally changed to "new card is being produced."
It seems that submitting a service request prompted my case to finally be looked at.

No receipt from I-765
So my I-485 changed to ready to schedule for the interview on Nov 22, but I still didn't receive my I-765 receipt, what should I do? I only received I-130, I-131 and I-485 receipt in July, nothing from I-765. I'm worried because my F1 visa is gonna expired soon.

submitted our forms in mid Oct 2019, more than 75 days ago.
Had my Biometrics taken on Nov 19th
I want to make a service request for the EAD because it seems to speed things for some people here. How do you do that?
Also, does anyone know how to ask for an interim EAD?
I live in Ca, should I expect Ca processing times or National processing time?

1/1/2020 at 1am received a message I-130 is now approved.

12/30/19- Received RFE and they are requesting things that I have already sent them but will have to send again.
I am wondering how much longer till he gets approved but so far no Work Permit.

so the congressman forwarded me a letter he received from the uscis and it states that when an RFE is issued for 485 the processing times start over- wtf does that mean, they’re gonna treat me as a December case now?!?!?!
Also, they said additional evidence for my expedite is “outdated” and needs to be resent. My expedite was approved on December 3rd I am so freaking confused and furious. If it has been approved how is the evidence outdated🤬

So I just took a look at the processing times - it's now '6 - 8 months' ??!!!!!!!!
My details:

case RC: July 31st 2019
Location: California
Expedite requested denied: December 2019
So technically it won't be until March 2020 that I can contact USCIS to say I'm outside of their processing times. GREAT.
Really hoping you guys have brighter news.....
