Important SSN
Hi everyone
Let me share my experience with SSN after apply for EAD + SSN combo.
My PD may 08.2019 for all . NBC C9 cat.
I have approval latter in mail Nov.04.2019 for I 765
My EAD arrive yesterday Nov.07.2019
At evening time I went to this forum, and someone posted here, they received EAD and waiting for SSN witch never come. The USCIS forget to apply for it.( its happening pretty often)
So I went to SSA this morning just ask if they can recheck if the USCIS apply for my SSN?
Very nice lady at Winder GA office check my name in the database of applications and find out, there is no pending application under my name for new SSN.
She give me new application for SSN and she apply for it.
I ask her , what going to happened if the uscis will apply for my SSN later?
She says nothing. First thing what SSA do when they received new application is, cross check for pending applications and if is any SSN match to your name.
In the case there is pending application they will cancel the second one.
So if I would still waiting for my SSN ill be 2-3 weeks out and then Ill have to go to apply for it anyway.
Save your time and stress ,as soon as you receive you EAD go to your local SSA and check your application status. You have nothing to loose .

Just come off the phone with uscis and was told my dad and travel parole was accepted on nov 5th and should receive notice in mail over next few days

Finally
i just chat with Live support and he gave me the update on my case. my online account and other apps has no update .
So now i know the Mail coming is my Approval notice
USCIS has approved your I-765 on 11/05/2019.
USCIS has approved your I-131 on 11/05/2019.
Your card was produced yesterday 11/07/2019.
So now i know the Mail coming is my Approval notice

Checked my uscis account and finally, “ New Card is being produced” for my I-765
Praise God!
On my case status account it never changed but when I checked on my.uscis.gov it says “New card is being produced”.
I am so happy!!!

EAd expedite
Hey guys, I know it’s possible to expedite your ead for emergency reasons. My father is due to have a kidney transplant procedure in my home country in January, I am planning on trying to go home to be there for him during his procedure. If I expedite based on that reason do you think uSCIS might process the ead card faster?I need to travel soon , and I just received the news as well. I also hadn’t applied for travel parole but, if I submit that in could it also be included with my ead?

My timeline
Wanted to share my timeline as well. NY filer, EAD at NBC, marriage based (c9), marriage to US citizen.
PD: June 6 2019
Bio: July 5 2019
RFIE letter received: August 15th
Response to RFIE sent: Sep 3rd, received Sep 5th
Status changed to ready to schedule interview: Sept 26th (still unchanged)
Expedite request sent for EAD: October 16th
Response was that my case was already being reviewed so no need to expedite, this was Oct 22nd
Called USCIS on November 1st as status had not changed and they said my EAD had been approved Oct 29th (althought status still unchanged)
Received approval notice on the mail on Nov 3rd
Received EAD on the mail on Nov 5th. That day Status changed to Card delivered.
Still waiting for the interview.
