EAD pushback
Honestly I’m at a point where I’m just so angry and I feel defeated; I can’t believe we are literally being held hostage in situations we do not wish to be in because of these delays. How does USCIS expect people to survive, provide for their families, and put food on the table when they’re intentionally delaying something as simple as an EAD for no absolute reason? Isn’t there something we can do to stand up to this foolishness? Can’t we call our reps to speed the process up? We shouldn’t have to wait this long for something so simple. It’s not fair at all, I am depressed because if this situation and it’s not right at all

May filer with RFE
Hi there,

My timeline (marriage based):
RD: May 13 2019 at NBC
Biometrics: June 10 2019
RFE sometime in early August
RFE response received: September 9, 2019

Nothing since then. Anyone with a RFE get a response and can share their timeline?

I don't know what to expect at this point. I'm 24 and am watching everyone around me build their future and I am at a standstill. Can't work or go to school or go to my home country. Doesn't help that my husband works 90/100-hour weeks.
I thought the whole concept of getting the EAD before the green card was to avoid leaving people hanging forever but I see people here with no response 10 months in. Sorry for the rant guys, but I don't know how it is just expected of people to not have a life for this long.

Wishing everyone luck but kind of going crazy over here.
