EAD Renewal under family based adjustment of status
I am married to a US citized and have filed for a greencard back in Feb 2020. We had an interview in Feb 2021 and since than the case is pending review. We had a bunch of evidence and the interview was quick, the officer asked basic guestions and it was done in 15 min but we didn't get an answer as of today. I sent an inquiry about a week ago and just got a response that they cannot make a decision now and that the adjustment of status is pending review. My EAd which was a combo card expired and I filed for renewal in April 2021. The sent an aproval on Jan 3rd for the I-765 and shortly after I recevied my EAD but what confuses me is that it says Not valid for reentry. I filed I-765 and I-131 at the same time for the renewal and online the status for new I-131 just says application received and receipt notice sent. Now why would they just send me the EAD and not the travel document as well since the application is not denied (and there is no reason why it should be). Does anyone have a similar experience with advance parole recently?

Help please
A friend of mine has an update online status. 17 months ago that saysh

‘Case approval was certified by USCIS.

‘We certified the approval of your form I-360, petition for amerasian widow(er) or special immigrant. And send it to the appropriate appellate office.

That office will send you a final decision.

(Does this mean an approval of the case)

P.s

She filled I485, I360 and 765 all together. Has 3 prima factia and work and travel as well sending now for 3th renewal. (Filled everything in summer 2019)

Thank you in advance

EAD Renewal
Hello everyone,

My EAD (based on marriage) is about to expire and I'd like to renew it. What documents must I attach when submitting the renewal form? As usual, do I need to also include Form G-1145 for electronic notification? I would appreciate any advice. Thank you all for your advice.

Thank you.

EAD for L1 Spouse
I wanted your guidance regarding my work permit for my spouse – who is on L2 VISA with me here.

As per latest USICS Immigration services update, L-2 spouses will no longer have to apply for work authorization and need an EAD (Employment Authorization Document) as proof in order to work in the United States.

Is this right and implemented by law? If yes, may be, she can start looking for job immediately.

Also is there anything specific that her I-94 needs to specific regarding her work permit?

H4 EAD RFE regarding Work Authorization!
Hi,

I had filed H4 EAD for my wife through the attorney of my Employer, and we received the RFE for her regarding - "Basis for Work Authorization".

Seems like as part of this RFE, they are looking for copy of my I-140. Did anyone else got this kind of RFE, could someone please share.
Also the attorney is very slow in responding and i also received the RFE letter from the USCIS, so i am thinking to reply on my own rather than waiting on them, as they take a lot of time in reviewing and filing.

Could someone please suggest, if they have responded to this kind of RFE.

Thanks

Ever increasing processing time for EAD/AP C09
I opted for concurrent filing for my i485 and i140 back on April 16, 2021, and I received my biometrics appointment four months later in August. Fingerprints taken, picture collected, hand shaken. My fingerprint review and background check was finally completed and my case status for i765 was updated accordingly. This was on September 10. Today is a November 15, 2021, and still haven’t hear anything new from Uscis. My current OPT EAD is expiring in a month and I really hope to avoid being forced to stay home and miss work… is anyone in the same boat as me and still waiting for their combo cars to come? I’m losing sight of hope..

E/L Spouses no longer need EADs
As of 12th November 2021 L and E Spouses won't be required to have EAD authorization. There's some additional hoops to jump through when filing an i94 but thats the big takeaway.

Initially then you'll need to show an expired EAD, a valid i94 and evidence of a timely filed renewal receipt. That will provide a 180 day extension.

In the meantime CBP are implementing a revised i94 for spouses which will differentiate between spouse and other dependent entries. Once that's implemented then this alone will be sufficient evidence for employment.

Series of Denial of EAD
An immigrant on parole since May 15 2020.
Applied for EAD on August 2020. Did Biometrics in March and received a denial letter in May stating that I needed to renew my I-94 and reapply before August. Is it possible to renew I-94, if yes, how can this be done???
I-94 expired in May 15 2021 and this was the reason why I wasn't granted the EAD.
Reapplied for EAD and was still negated reason being that I have an open case which needs to be closed before I become eligible for EAD. There is more to this but the info I am trying to get here is =>
Is it possible to apply for SSN with an expired I-94, if yes, how is it done? because at this moment I am really frustrated trying to apply for EAD.
Thank you for reading through.
