Expedite
RD: 12/3/18
NBC
Marriage Based

So I tried expediting through my congresswoman. They denied that. I tried expediting on my own, sent evidence showing severe financial loss. They denied that too.
Now I am worried because I did those 2 expedite requests I may have taken myself out of line and put back in the back..... does anyone have experience with this? I know theres no way to tell if they got put in the back of the line but if you have any experience being denied expediting and getting their EAD approved later on? Refreshing our case page has become my crazy obsession lol USCIS HELPPPPP!

My Estimations for NBC & Miami
So based on my calculations and how far NBC office is with the processing date of i-465. I estimate that they’ll get to my priority date at around November 26,2019. As of today they are at November 6,2019.

🤔My Pd- March 25,2019🤔

🔆Biometrics Request: April 5, 2019
🔆Biometrics completed: April 23, 2019
🔆Ready for Schedule interview: April 26, 2019

Miami office with my I-485 they’ll get to me around April 8, 2021 🙄 They are only at June 21, 2017 as of today.

I placed this here so i can compare estimations as well as see if things actually will go this slow or they will indeed pick up or that all run into some luck without expedition..

C’mon now......but anyone else Marriage base got quicker without expedition?! Share your experience....

Out of processing! I made it!!
Yay, after 8.5 months I finally made it to out of processing time officially! I'm so excited, never thought I'd get here but I did. I'd like to thank a government that doesn't care about me and an expedite request that never came back and local gov people who never returned my messages. Amazing .

How long does an expedite take?
I am very worried that my case has not been expedited yet. I expedited through Senators' office. Senator A told me it was approved on 6/27. Senator B told me it was approved on 7/2. (I ended up contacting two Senator's offices and 2 Congressmen's offices because it took them a while to respond).

Still no update to EAD. I called USCIS yesterday, 7/9, and the person on the phone told me she couldn't find my case online. I was unable to reach a Tier 2 officer. Waiting time was 400 minutes.

Should I be worried? The stories here make me think that expedites take in effect in days. I am very worried. When should I expect an update?

For context: My case is in good standing. AOS is in "waiting to schedule interview." AP (applied for separately) was approved in 98 days.

Here is the email I got from USCIS, forwarded by Senator A:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. This case will be routed for expedited processing. Once this case is reviewed, your constituent will receive a decision or notice of further action. Due to the extremely high volume of expedite requests for this case type, there are numerous cases involving exigent or humanitarian issues already in the expedite queue, and we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for the expedited review. The strict enforcement of the expedite criteria means that all cases sent for expeditious handling are urgent, and we assure you that this case will be adjudicated as soon as possible.

We hope the information provided is helpful. If we may be of assistance in the future, please let us know.
