Nothing new since then.
Right now having the feeling to just say screw this and give up.
Let's hope they won't add more months to the processing time now. It's already been to much delays for everyone.

The date to request the follow-up of a case or a question on NBC for the work permit was published on October 31 and moved back to September 16: rage:.
The waiting time to receive the EAD was from 6.5 months to 8.5 months.
I have been reading on this forum for a while and I would like to thank everyone for sharing your thoughts. here is my long journey:
I have a I485 application - family based pending since September 2017.
- Sept/2017 - Submitted I485, I130, I765 together.
- Dec/2017 - Had interview, it went well, officer told us we should receive Green Card in 2 weeks. Until today, no update, application is still pending.
- Dec/2017 - recieved EAD - Combo card
- August/2018 - submitted EAD Renewal application
- Dec/2018 - EAD expired, gave my employer the notice form which authorize me to work until end of May2018
- Fast forward, I submitted 3 online request without a response.
- April2019 I hired a new lawyer because previous one was not active
- May 1st 2019, I received a 30days termination notice from employer, new lawyer called USCIS,
they created another online request. the lawyer told me there is nothing we can do to expedite EAD, we just have to wait, I was frustrated and I decided to take issues in my own hands.
- May 10, I called congressman office, I sent them copy of my Notice and employer termination notice. Congressman office sent back a confirmation email that they contacted USCIS and to allow 30 days for USCIS to reply.
- May 17, 2019, I called USCIS and asked to talk to tier 2 officer, I did not receive a call back.
- May 21, 2019 I called USCIS again, the lady on the phone was really helpful she told me Tier2 officer will not do anything special, instead she advised to submit an expedite request since my case is way out processing time. I agreed, she submitted expedite request based on financial hardship.
- Today, May 24, 2019 I just received a text "New Card Being Produced".
I am not sure if I will receive the card before I lose my job, but at least, it's a good news.
To all of you guys waiting, do not give up, and most importantly, you need to take issues in your own hands, pick up the phone call your congressman/woman, call USCIS, nag them, it does not hurt to ask, worst case, they will tell you to wait.
Most lawyers will tell you to wait to keep waiting, but waiting is not enough. None cares about your case than yourself.
