So my congressman called today and said uscis is gonna send me a correspondence letter because. I asked their office to expedite my case he didnt state what the letter would talk about so am lost does anyone knows what that's means plz help

Does anyone know if its ok to travel to Puerto Rico even though I dont have my combo card in hand yet?
I know its considered US territory, but just want to make sure. Google gave me very mixed results - hard to get a general idea.

Hi there, sharing here my experience.
06/14/2018 - Filled all docs for F1 EAD OPT extension
10/02/2018 - Status changed to card being produced
10/04/2018 - Card being mailed
Now I am waiting for the EAD card.

Has anyone traveled while waiting for EAD?
Im on a H-1B Visa and my lawyer told me it was OK to travel, so I have traveled for work.
Now I read that new regulations on EAD are denying it because of traveling while pending resolution
Anyone had an approval after traveling?

Renewel EAD/AP
Has anyone renewed their EAD/AP on their own - (Without lawyer)? If so, please explain the process/forms required. I don't believe there is USCIS fees for that. Please clarify. Thank you

EAD Approved!
I am so happy that it has been apporved. It was funny because the way I founc out was that. I went to USCIS offices to request an emergency pass to go see my father, and the lady said I just have been approved 2 days ago and SHE said that the card was maile don October 1st, but when I got home and check my status online, it said it was barely mailed on October 3rd.
She said I could not get a emergency pass since I am already approved, and my fathers surgery is to be tomorrow. I am wondering if i can leave the country and my husband can bring me the EAD card when he comes to Mexico. (Since he is coming in 2 weeks)

Hi all,
This might be a stupid question but does an RFE for I-485 (greencard app) slow down or affect the process of the EAD application? I got the RFE early September and lawyer has been working on it since. Thanks.
