Expedite Submitted. What's Next?
Hey guys,
So I called to submit my expedite request and was told to wait 5 days for a response. I got an email from USCIS the day after I called and it said my case was under review. So I was like ok good I guess at lease someone is sorta working on my case but then I don't even know if they are...?
It's been almost a week after I received the email and still nothing. No follow-up email or even request for evidence in the mail either. I called my congressman's office to ask if they could follow up with my expedite request like some of you guys said to do. But every time I call, the person always seems very hesitant to help or will just give me very vague answers like "this is very normal of a wait" or "I'll try to give you a call back some time today to let you know".
My PD for my package was June 4. I haven't gotten any update on my fingerprint review or even a schedule of an interview yet. Everything is still under "Case was received"
I've tried calling my Senator's office multiple times a day but I keep getting their voicemail. I've left tons of voicemails too but no one has gotten back to me. I know it's getting closer to election time so maybe that's why they're busy?
I'm feeling stuck! I don't know what to do? Any suggestion?

L2 EAD case mid July, Approved
Here is my timeline:
July 12th : Application received
July 18th : Receipt (I797) mailed by USCIS to me
October 3rd: Petition filed for case expedition based on financial loss
October 4th: Petition assigned to officer for adjudication
October 8th: New card is being produced
Waiting for the card to be mailed now.

I just want to share my timeline as I’ve been a silent reader of this forum which had helped me during the waiting time. Filed without attorney and no expedite request too. Letting the natural course to happen.
Married to USC
NBC - Chicago
PD May 8, 2018 (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-864)
May 11 - card was charged of the fees
May 15 - received the notice of acceptance thru sms/email
May 18 - 797s in the mail
May 25 - ASC notification for biometrics
June 4 - Courtesy letter regarding medical because we didn’t include it in the package
June 5 - Biometrics
June 23 - Fingerprints reviewed for I-485
June 25 - Fingerprints reviewed for I-765
July 18 - I-485 ready to be scheduled for interview
Oct 5 - Card in production
Oct 5 - I-765 approved (updated after an hour)
Now I’m awaiting for the EAD card to arrive in the mail. Hopefully the SSN card will arrive almost at the same time too.

I wasn’t expecting to get a notification by email under 2 months. Here’s my timeline:
My current status is F1-STEM OPT (Exp 12/16/2018)
EB2-NIW Concurrent Filing Timeline
(140, 485, 765, 131, 693 all filed on 8/16/2018)
- self-prepared; no lawyer
I-765 and I-131
8/16/2018 - USCIS received I-765 & I-131; case # assigned
8/29/2018 - Cases Accepted and routed to Nebraska Service Center
9/4/2018 Receipt notice arrived in mail; new alien number assigned (different from OPT EAD)
9/7/2018 Biometrics Appointment Notice Issued
9/14/2018 Appointment Notice for Biometrics Received in Mail; 9/26/2018 Biometrics Appointment Date
9/26/2018 Fingerprints, Photo, Signature done
10/5/2018 Email and text received; I-765 card now in production and I-131 has been case approved
Relatively quicker than the average processing time. Hope this gives optimism to those who are feeling anxious due to the wait. Keep in mind that everything is case to case basis.

What should I do? We sent service request for i765 a month and a half ago and no respond it’s been total of 263 days

Status changed to New Card is being produced
Hello guys
Today at 5 pm my online status changed from recieved fingerprint to new card is being produced
My pariority date is March 12 sponsor is green card
I was surprised and happily called to USCIS and transfer my call to tier 2 officer
And tier 2 officer told he can’t see any card in production from there
End and told me to wait for a day to update in system
I M Confuse......

So I called to expedite on Sept 12 and was told I would receive a mail requesting for evidence
I waited 2 weeks no mail
Called back and was told to wait few more days
On Sept 21st , I got an update that expedite was completed. Yet no mail for evidence
I called again On Sept 25th and was told that they can't see that I expedited my case. I was Surprised.
I told the tier 2 officer that I want to to another expedite. He told me to wait for mail again.
Sept 28th I got an update of card is In production and advance parole approval.
They didn't ask for evidence.
I also contacted Congress on Sept 10th and on sept 27th they mailed back that USCIS said my case is within processing time and I have to be patient.
They confirmed to me that although my i485 is ready to be scheduled for interview since July 16 but my file is still at NBC
But they promised to follow up with my local office to see if I'm in line for an interview. Got I131 & I765 approval notice delivered Oct 1st
