Want to share my experience :
PD :15th June'18
Raised expedite request on 16 Sep however it got denied.
Tried reaching the Congressman around the same time.

My status changed to "New Card is being produced" today. They say it got processed not under expedite but normal processing.
Not sure whether the congressman followup made any difference or it was just co-incidence that my application got picked under normal processing.

Wish ya'll luck with your EADs.

Questions
1) How long till I get my EAD card? 2 weeks?
2) How long is the usual EAD validity?
3) How long for my GC from here?
4) Any trouble if I not retain my H1B status from now on? Will they keep extending my EAD till I get my GC?
5) Can I leave my H1B right away and get another job with my EAD?

My follows readers, I'm seeking some clearance and guidance. My pd November 3rd 2017, married to USC.
Made several SR, got one RFIE back in May, completed RFIE and sent back to USCIS in June, haven't received any email or nothing on my online status that they have received it.
On September 10, made another call to USCIs operator told me that my case was denied and I should received a mail shortly, until this day I haven't received any mail or my online status Bern updated. I'm started to wondering what could have went wrong a long the way. I'm seeking your best advice, as it seems like my lawyer is lacking.

EAD
Hi, i want to give back for the advice i got here by sharing my timeline

01/26/18 - PD for i485, i130

03/26/18 - PD for i-765

09/07/18 - requested expedite for EAD based on financial loss/hardship

09/10/18 - USCIS emailed and asked to fax in a proof of a pending job offer, i did so the same day from one i got through the numerous interviews i had already attended

09/14/18 - USCIS emailed again and said they had received the documents and my case was under review

09/20/18 - New card being produced update on case tracker app

my i485 still says case ready to be scheduled for interview

I can say that if i didnt request to have my EAD expedited,i wouldnt have seen the results i see now and would have probably still be waiting blindly.

In total it took almost 180 days/6months. My advice, push any buttons u can to help your application,be it raising SR,expedition, contacting congressman, senator, ombudsman.

my field office for AOS: Los Angeles. NBC processed my i765.

Best of luck
