EAD card only?
Hi,
Finally after 5 months of waiting, I was approved for EAD (expedited) based on job offer/financial loss.
Not sure if the expedite request worked, as it took a month after the request.
I only received the email of I-765 card processed and mailed, but will I receive the I-131 AP as well?
The Senator office emailed me that the USCIS approved both I-765 and I-131, but I only received emails from USCIS for I-765.
Has anyone had the same experience?
Did you receive the EAD only? or did you receive the Combo card?

Expedite requested: Aug 14 (requested to USCIS and Senator office on the same day. job offer and bank fs emailed to Senator office)

I have been an avid reader here for quite some time and decided it is time to give something back.
I filed my I-485 (C9), I-130, I-131, and I-765 with the NBC coming from a J1 visa and can share the following timeline wirh you:
PD: 05/01/18
Biometrics (early walk in): 05/21/18
Case ready to be scheduled for an interview: 05/25/18
Declined request to expedite EAD/AP: 08/22/18
New card being produced: 09/14/18
A total of 136 days until EAD/AP card was being produced. It’s bound to ship soon.

Anyone waited longer than a week for a SSN card?
Hello Guys,
My EAD was delivered on Sep 11th, I still have not received the SSN card. I went t the SS Offices but I was told they still have not received the application from USCIS, how long did you guys wait after receiving your EAD?
I know quite a few people have been receiving their SSN card on or before the day the received their EAD.

How long from approval notice until EAD card?
Ive just seen that I have a new status for my EAD. The status says now the following: "On September 14, 2018, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number *NUMBER*. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
How long does it take from here until the EAD is sent? Any guess?

Green card interview question
Hey folks,
This question is for anyone experienced in the interview process. My interview is scheduled for next month and my wife and I are in the process of getting all our documents in order. As a mental health therapist, she has not yet changed her last name to mine officially..reason is because of the peculiarity of my last name, we try to avoid any potential client from judging her background(this happens in the professional world). Is this okay to keep this way even till the interview? Or should we change it so we have the same exact last name? I know some spouses jeep their last name the same, but I just don't want this decision to affect our interview process of raise any unnecessary flags. We been together for 8 years, married last year, so there's no deception to any of this but, I just want to make sure we do it right before the interview. Please advise. Thanks.
