EAD timeline
Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I posted but I wanted to share my timeline:

case at NBC
PD: 26 feb 2018
Biometrics: 26 March 2018

After much anxiety and stress I expedited on 22 August 2018 based on financial loss.
I called uscis on 28 August as I was expecting something to hear within 3 days. They said that on 24 August a letter was sent that they're working on my case. I never received anything.

Suddenly on August 29th I saw on the case tracker app that a new card was ordered.
On sept 5 I got the notification: new card was mailed. On 8 sept I got a letter home that I expedited and they are reviewing my request LOL

Card in hands: Sept 10 2018. After 195 days!!!!
So hang in there and do everything what is possible to get your card in your hands :) I was almost going crazy towards the end, not worth it!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another notification: As of Aug. 28th case (I-485) is ready to be scheduled. I couldnt bear the happiness when I read this. Who knows how long I have to wait?
Field office: Sacramento, CA

Mistakes on forms
I filed my i-130, i-485, i-765 and i-131 on 06/26/2018. It has been 83. No updates, except on my.uscis website it says that my fingerprint review is complete.

Anyway, today I checked my forms to find some information and I noticed that I put my date of entry incorrectly. I entered in September and I put the numeric "10" instead of "9."

No RFE yet. What should I do? Do you think this is going to slow down processing?

EAD card experience.
Hello everyone.

I hav ben reading this forum since March when I started my case.
I want to share my story and timeline.

Back in 2016 I got married with an American citizen (Gay marriage) in March.
We started my green card case in April and everything worked fine and fast. By the end of July I had my EAD card in hands. (3 months after I started the case)
In September I had an Emergency in my country ( Family healthy issue) so I had to fly to my country and I spent some months there taking care of it and I also took advantage and solved out everything that I had there, like to sell my business, finish 2 credits to get my MBA degree and finally live 100% of the time of my life here with my husband. While I was there They schedulled my GC interview so We missed it.
Bottom life I lost the case.

This year 2018 we started the case again and this is my timeline:

PD: march 13th
Biometrics: April 11th
We reopen your case for reconsideration: Aug 27th. (After 5 months and a half waiting, praying and anxious I got this upgrade. I was surprised because I was waiting for: New card is being produced. Than I thought: as I had one EAD card in 2016 they just reopened the case. I called USCIS, the lawyer and no one knew how to answer me so I was waiting for the USCIS letter to explain. THANKS GOD one week later I received the letter saying it was approved. 🙏🏻
EAD card in hand: Sep 8th.

It’s a long wait but thanks to my faith and God everything worked fine. Do not give up. It is difficult but God know the time for everything.
I AM SO GRATEFUL TO GOD AND MY HUSBAND WHO SUPPORTS ME and during 8 months was the only one provind home and supporting us. (Me and our 2 Dogs 🐶)

EAD C09 Experience - June Filer
Hello-

I have been lurking on this page and wanted to share information with the community to help others who are waiting for EAD.

Here's my background: F-1 visa, OPT (expired in June 30th, 2018)
Married to USC, Category: C09 (same as C9), filed an application at the end of May.
Filed I-130, I-485, I-765 concurrently, sent to NBC.

PD: 6/11/2018
Biometrics (Fingerprints): 7/19/2018
Requested to Expedite: 8/24/2018
RFE on Expedite request* : 8/25/2018
Expedite request case has been assigned to an officer, sent a response to the request, and completed: 9/4/2018
Completed the review: 9/14/2018
Card mailed: 9/15/2018
Card in hand: 9/17/2018

During the weekend (Saturday of 9/15/2018), suddenly status was updated twice (Card mailed and shared the USPS tracking number accordingly) from Fingerprints Review Completed.

* Expedite Request was inquired based on Financial hardship, and provided an official letter from the employer stating that I need EAD in order to continue working at the company.

Please feel free to comment on this post for any questions and I will be gladly to be informative as much as possible.

RFE
hi, any of you sent back an RFE with the requested documents and never got the update that "RFE was received", but still were approved their EAD??

I sent mine over a month ago and have the Fedex receipt and I see someone there signed the package, but no updates that they received it on both websites...

replacement EAD c09
Hi everyone,

my EAD was stolen a week ago, my I485 is still pending and my EAD c09 will be expiring on May 17, 2019.

my question is:
Do I need to apply for a replacement card? and how long would that take?

Do you think I should hold off a few more months and directly apply for a renewal card?

all suggestions appreciated.
