Hey y'all I've been on this forum for a while reading every one posts
I just got back from my interview was nervous because its my 2 time doing this and thought it would affect me but I was honest and my officer was a nice person he didn't ask us a lot of questions the most question was about my previous filing but other than that it was smooth sailing he ask my husband how we met he told him he even laugh at time with us I gave him an updated medical also because its been over a year and he said good because it would have made the process longer so I advice get an updated medical before your interview.he said I don't see any reason why he shouldn't approve me today so he approve me I'm so happy he gave me a white paper saying case under review but I'm approve he said he would have updatr it now but the background system was done or something to that affect but all in all this journey is almost over just need card in hand ......

Finally received by EAD on sept 7th. Just want to share my timeline.
Timeline:
Category C09.
June 2016 - I 130 Approved
Oct 2017 - Filed I485/EAD/AP
April 2018 - Opened Case inquiry online. Closed with generic response after 2 weeks.
July 31st 2018 - I485 status changed to Ready for interview schedule.
August 21, 2018 - EAD status changed to Approved
Sept 7th, 2018 - EAD/AP card in hand.

How to expedite EAD?
Hey people.
I am a c09 filer. my PD is may 3rd. my wife as my dependent got her EAD card but I am still waiting as the petitioner.
I tried to call USCIS with the given number but none of the extensions will get me to the officer. Is there anybody has done this and share the numbers that they dialed?

What are the requirements to expedite your case?
Hi guys,
Im on C09 applying for EAD and Greencard. I've filed my documents on 05/17 and last thing I did was to go to the fingerprint appointment which was at 06/27. Nothing since then.
A lot of the people here are writing about expediting their cases. What are the requirements? I've read at https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume1-PartA-Chapter12.html about the criterias.
Do they make sure that you are matching these as an expedite applicant? Can you request an expedite at any time after you have filed you documents or what is the minimum time?

1st time OPT EAD request
Hello All,
Below is my case for 1st time OPT EAD:
- USCIS received my case at Potomac Center on 23rd March
- Case transferred Nebraska Office on 26th March
- Case transferred to California Office because of work load on 16th June
- Case transferred to Potomac Center on 10th Aug
What I tried doing until now:
- Called at least 6 times to see what can be done and when can I receive an update?
- Got Info pass appointment and no answer there as well, they said normal processing time is 3-5 months (It's more than 5 months now.)
- Raised an Expedite request on 3rd Aug (which is more than 30 days).
- Tried raising E-request on the portal almost everyday since last 1 month, unsuccessful.
- Tried talking to the Senator office they were nice to help me give some updates that the case has been assigned to a Senior Officer for review
WHAT can be done? How much more should I wait? This is my first time OPT EAD request. I do have an offer from a company as well.
PLEASE help me out if any options which I can try.

been 30 days expedite and no response...
Hi everyone, My PD is May 11,
Biometric June 15
I expedited on Aug 10, Today is 30 days and I have not received the decision yet.
I called on Aug 24 and Sep 8. They asked me to wait after 30days and make another expedite.... What happened with my expedite? any experience ? Anyone has been waiting for 30days after expedite request ?
Please share, I really need my card so bad.
