Question about REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE
Hi

I came to US using B1/B2 visa and I got married to US citizend 1 week before the 6 months of my visa expired. (c09). Sent I130, I485 and I765 only. (NBC).

Married - 24 March 2018.
PD - 28 March 2018 (149 days)
Fingerprints - 01 June 2018
RFIE - received letter today (24-aug-2018).

The RFIE requests was:
* Marriage certificate
* My birth certificate (translated to english)
* I94 (already sent, but maybe they have lost it).
* Wife birth certificate OR any other document that they can know she is US citizen. (I don´t understand why they need this...)

MY QUESTION:
* Is my EAD (work permit) linked to the delivery of this documents?
(I mean, are they waiting me to send this documents in order to approve my EAD?)

Thank you very much!

New Card is Being Produced
Today my status change to New Card is being Produced.
My PD is May 4, 2018.
Married to a US Citizens, category C09.
National Benefits Center.
I expedited on June 27, on June 28 they asked me to send evidence but the fax number never work, i was trying to send it every day and i couldnt, on August 1st i called and the officer told me to send the evidence by postal mail, i sent it and never got an email that they recieved the evidence, so i called again this monday, the officer sent a message to the officer that was reviewing my case, on tuesday they re-assign my case to another officer and in an hour was complete and recieved an email saying We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly.
This Morning at 11:45 received a text message saying that my case was updated, so i went to the website and found that they Order my new Card.
Hopefully i can get my card soon.
Total days waiting 112 plus the days is gonna take to have my card in hands.
If you have a good reason to expedite, I recommend you to do it.

DHS status change
Hi!

So recently I discovered the DHS site and I made an account. I’ve been checking it non stop and today it changed from “we reviewed fingerprints and are working on your case to fingerprint review completed”. The other site (egos) still shows case received.

I have a blind hope that I will get my approval notice for ead sometimes close to the 90 days mark.

Pd 5/29 NBC

Anyone else experiences this and got approval?

Thanks

Oct 2017 F2A
Any new approval for Oct 2017 F2A filers? Today marks the 322 days since case received. Expedite request was completed Aug 1, it's been almost a month and still haven't received a decision. Getting really depressed here...A fellow Oct filer said an officer told her over the phone that every time she called to inquire her case will be pushed back a month, now she's afraid to call again...

Timeline for F2A filling
Hi all
Married to US Green card holder PD 06/14/17

STEM OPT Statue in US submit on F2A filing date
MSC Boston, MA

04/06/18 Received I-485 / I-765 / I-131
05/03/18 Bio scheduled
05/07/18 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
08/18/18 Card was mailed to me
08/22/18 Received AP EAD and "Interview was scheduled"

Here's my question, since my PD haven't meet the F2A final action date, yet my interview was scheduled in Sep this year. So the USCIS will not approve 485 until the final action date even if I pass the interview?

Production date pushed back 6 days
Hi everyone,
So as of last Friday, Aug 17, my I-765 was updated to 'Card Is Being Produced'. I checked my status today to see if has been mailed but noticed that production date changed from 17th to today's date, 23rd. I found this strange so I called and, the rep said her only thought as to why that happened is probably an error they found on my card after production so they had to probably send it back to be redone..that's why they moved the date.
Has anyone ever had a similar experience? Or any inputs? Please advise..thanks.

"New Card Being Produced" date changed 3x
Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone is (or has been) in the same boat I am currently in. Currently here in a F1 STEM OPT.

08/02: Received letter case for EAD got approved. USCIS website says that "On August 2, New Card Is Being Produced.."
08/20: USCIS updated with "On August 20, New Card is Being Produced..."
08/23: USCIS updated with "On August 23, New Card Is Being Produced..."

I am confused as to why this is happening. I called the USCIS hotline and asked if this was normal and the operator said to simply wait for it.

My classmate got his card before mine and he applied later than me. And his USCIS statuses never informed him that his card was being produced, but jumped straight to "New Card being mailed to you..." so I'm wary of USCIS website status updates already.

Thank you for any replies :( My anxiety is through the roof.
