Hi everyone,
Last week I called for an expedite based on loss of financial..
i received a confirmation nr, but no response at all. No email asking for proof or theyre working on my case.
I did receive an RFE end of july and on august 13 they said theyre working again on my case.
Does this influence my EAD and the expedite?
Please advise what should I do?

How do you get job offers to expedite?
Hi Everyone,
This is for people who tried to expedite with their job offers, or wanting to because they get job offers..
First of all, you did a great job for successfully expediting your EAD.
In my case, I am really desperate to get my EAD expedited but I couldn't get a job offer!! In the first place, when I tell the companies that my work permit is still under process, they no longer entertain me. How come you get them to still hire you even if your EAD/green card is still pending? You guys are really lucky!!
I have been trying to apply for jobs to get an offer and first thing they ask is for my work permit (even when they say that I am qualified for the position). This is just sad I am losing hope

Any NYC April filers?
Hi!
I filed for work/travel permit and adjustment of status simultaneously in April in NYC and am currently waiting for my EAD, wondering if anyone in my boat is hearing any news or updates?
Married USC, changing from O-1 which expired end of May.
04/02/18 - case received
04/30/18 - biometrics done
06/25/18 - fingerprint review completed, working on I-485
Since then nothing and all that comes up when I type the last receipt number into DHS site is that 6/25 update above and that's it.
I'm reading some people are hearing 'ready to be scheduled for interview' and 'card being produced' and such, is that through DHS website too? Or by mail?

5/7/2018 PD I485,I765,I130,I131
6/7/2018 Fingerprint done
6/11/2018 Ready to schedule an interview
6/23/2018 Fingerprint was completed
8/13/2018 Called congressman to request an expedite for I 765 under financial loss/ Job offer
Send them a job offer, bank statement and privacy release form
8/15/2018 Got email from congressman saying that they sent the request and proof to USCIS
8/17/2018 Called USCIS to make sure if they receive the request, and they said no, so I called them
again and requested the expedite request
8/20/2018 "we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number **** *"
8/20/2018 was asked to send a proof of job offer and Faxed them to NBC, also mailed out.
8/20/2018 The status went to the expedite request was completed
8/27/2018 Got phone call from congressman saying my case was expedited according to USCIS.
8/28/2018 New card is being produced.
I think for my case, the request congressman did was worked? Since they called me yesterday and just now the status changed to card is being produced.
If you think you have a reason to met the criteria, you should request expedite process.
I was not sure when my case was approved, but I just did a try...( my job offer start date is Sep 4th)
Hope I can receive the actual card soon ;)

Been on this forum for a few weeks and would like to share the timeline.
PD - April 11th
Bio done- May 9th
July 11th Ready to Schedule Interview
Aug 27 - New Card is being produced.
Called USCIS on 8th go Aug to expedite based on job! but still had to leave work because OPT ended 22nd, so lost Job as of 22nd.
Just got an email saying we need more documentation. Did not get another email for proof or instructions to send them documents.

Fingerprint review completed (DHS website only) two days ago.
My niece is born tomorrow in Colombia and my best friend gets married in September in Venezuela, are those enough basis to expedite de advance parole and if so, is it okay to travel with expired current status (Classes were over May and i-20 lasted until 7/30). So now I’m just with my pending I485.
Please any advice will do, I’m crushing about missing those two events :(.

Nothing since then. Im based in California (SF) and I have a K1 sponsor. I already have a signed job offer and I gonna start as soon as the EAD arrives. I hope soon!
