220 DAYS and counting (and anxious)
Has anyone here have had to wait more than 200 days?! I just accepted a job that starts Sept. 17...getting super anxious. My lawyer filed for a report/update. I was told that filing for expedited processing usually doesn’t help. Have folks tried other ways that helped?

Hi everyone,
I married with an USC in Januari 2018.
NBC received our cases I-130, I-765, I-485 on Feb 26, 2018.
Biometrics were done in March.
End of July an RFE was received for I-485. They were asking for proof of entry (even though we sent a copy of my passport). Within a week my lawyer sent the required paperwork and I got an update saying they received it.
I have a few questions
1. Does a RFE influence your work-permit? It seems like march-fillers are already getting their EAD but I've still havent received any new update. I am still in the normal processing time though since theyre working on cases of Feb 15 2018...
2. Does an RFE mean that my I-485 case is delayed dramatically? :(:( I've been reading about it and I am not sure what is true or not.

I was a long wait for ead and so thankful just keep praying I didn’t apply for travel parole because I’m not planning on traveling no time soon I just wanted to work and feel like a normal human being in the US

I have job offer in my hand and I did not receive my EAD yet. Can someone please explain how can I expedite the process? Can I expedite the process by calling USCIS? if so what should I tell them?

I just want to share my EAD timeline with you:
EAD based on a pending 485. Location: NYC
PD: 2/12
6/5: Request to expedite
6/12: USCIS ask for expedite evidence
6/15: Fax offer letter
7/5: Received your request to expedite. Your case is under review
7/11: Ask the Senator to help. She emailed me my case will be routed for expedited processing
8/10: Contacted Senator again since it has been 30 days
8/16: Green card interview
8/16: Submitted a request my case is out of the normal processing time. Also emailed the Senator again.
8/16: After 1 hour, got an email that my card is being produced.
Total 185 days.
The wait is literally killing me.
Good luck everyone.

Ead tracking
How do I get tracking number ? I called USCIS customer service and the rep transferred me to l2 officer. I am waiting for the call back. Is there something wrong with ead or l2 officer can only give me tracking number? My was was mailed out yesterday

Ok I’ve been on this forum for a few months, after 142 days my ead/ ap got approved
On Tuesday I called USCIS and told the offer that my wife is 7 months pregnant and I have no status and I need to be working so I can support my wife and our son when he gets here, they said that there’s nothing they can do I just need to wait. The next day I got a text that my card is being produced and today I got another text that both my cases were approved.

NBC processing times changed!
So I read an user saying the tones changed and I decided to take a look. Now it’s 4.5 to 6.5 months and the inquiry based on receipt date Feb 2018.
Maybe we’ll start getting more updates on EAD approved. If so, can you guys share it along with your PD?

Hey everyone I want to share my experience with my EAD/AP timeline.
-Receipt date was 4/27/2018 at the NBC
-I didn't have any updates by the end of July so I decided to expedite it by medical reasons and financial loss
-I visited my local congressman's office on 8/2/2018 seeking his help to expedite, the office sent the request on the same day
-8/6/2018 my request was approved and routed for expedite processing
-8/10/2018 my case status changed to card being produced and the AP changed to name is being updated (this was weird)
-8/13/2018 the status changed again to my case has been approved for EAD and AP
-8/15/2018 it changed again to "my card was mailed to me"
I've signed up for informed delivery but as of 8/16/2018 at 6 AM PST there is still no update on USPS I guess they'll update it later.
That's it guys! I hope everyone has good luck with their process and if you need to expedite, definitely seek help from your local congressman or even senator I think they made the difference in my case
