We have been waiting for 10 month and my lawyer “allowed me” call to USCIS every week as this wait time is ridiculous. My wife, the applicant, is a strong woman but she can’t handle this BS anymore so I want to call myself. My question is: as a petitioner can I call myself without my wife and talk to the T2 or only the applicant can do that?
For all of you asking on the “allowed me”, I hired a high profile immigration law firm, and they have handled complex cases for me and my family the last 10 years, all approved (even with low odds) but the trade off is that you have to strictly follow their instructions or they basically won’t want to work on your case. They are against contacting USCIS but given that I’m their only Pctober case still open they feel pressure is acceptable now, but they asked me to do it myself. So I’m calling them once a week and going to info pass next week.

Case moved to Texas Service Center?
My case was being processed in Vermont and on August 9 it was moved to Texas Service Center. I been waiting since March 7. My parents , and two brothers already received their new EAD,I’m the only one left. What should I do next.i don’t want to loose my job.my wife is a full time student,I pay child support. Should I expedite? Also my 180 day automatic renewal expires September 9,2018.

EAD not Received after 2 Weeks of Approval
Hello guys,
Please! Has anyone ever experienced this... My EAD application got approved over 2 Weeks now.
I did got the approval Letter 4 days later then the SSN followed.
But still haven't received my EAD combo Card. I did tried checking online for any update but nothing, Only shows
case approved.
What do you think is going on Guys?

RFE
PD 02/25, C9, married to US citizen, NBC
I just received a RFE for sponsor's and applicant's birth certificates. No need to say I already sent all of this the first time I filed. They probably overlooked or lost it as my lawyer says...
Also, as I filed in Feb, I sent the 2016 tax return, but I'm thinking of sending the new 2017 tax return now along with the birth certificates in the same RFE letter, in case they want it. Because I've seen some people getting asked for it... and I need my EAD/AP card asap!!
Have you already sent more RFE than what they ask?

EAD WAITING TIME
Incredible testimonials here. Very helpful as well! After long 6 months I received a notice on August 9th that “a new card is being produced. I was looking to see if anyone had an idea on when I should be receiving. I have a job offer and the company is pressuring me to have the card or I will loose the hip opportunity. Thank you!

My Timeline
After look months of waiting, today I finally got a notice from USCIS saying "New Card is Being Produced". I spent so many hours crying and stressing out over my EAD since i had a start date for my dream job on October 1st, 2018 (I know I still have so much time but I was still very scared especially when I read that some Oct. 2017 filers are still waiting). But anyways, here is my timeline and some procedures that I did (but I am not sure it helped at all)
December 8th, 2017 - i-130, i-485 Received
January 9th, 2018 - RFE Request sent
February 1st, 2018 - RFE Response Received
April 6, 2018 - "We received your I-785 Application..."
July 16th, 2018 - Infopass. I scheduled an Infopass in Boston Field Office. Waited for about an hour and a half to finally able to talk to a representative only to learn that there was nothing that he could do to help since my EAD case was with NBC. But he was able to see in more details where my case was in the process and told me "You will definitely get it by October 1st. Your case is already in the final review stage and it usually takes about couple weeks for you to get approved". He also advised me not to try and expedite it and said that sometimes it slows the process because they have to pull my case from the file and etc. I FELT so relieved after the Infopass but was still very scared
July 26th, 2018 - "We scheduled an interview for your form i-485"
July 30th, 2018 - Received an Interview Notice in Mail
August 1st, 2018 - Asked BOTH Senators Office and Congressmen's Office for help.
August 3rd, 2018 - Got an email from Senator's Office saying that my case will be routed for expedited processing.
August 13th, 2018 - Followed up with Congressmen's Office about my case status and got the same response "Case will be routed for expedited processing". About 2 hours after I got the email, I received a notification from USCIS saying "New Card is Being Produced"
August 30th, 2018 - Interview in Boston Field Office
So I am not sure if my case got approved because of expedited processing that I requested or that USCIS are just approving EAD's for all April filers.
Anyways, I am so happy because finally I can have a peace in mind and confidently know that I will be able to start my job in October. I also will have my I-485 interview on August 30th, 2018 in the Boston Field Office so if anyone who recently interviewed there can share their experience with me here will be greatly appreciated. Again, good luck to everyone who is currently waiting on their EAD! Advice from me to everyone who is/was stressed out about this process - DO EVERYTHING in your power to push towards the goals. Contact your Ombudsman, Congressman, Senator. Go get real update on your case at Infopass and just be patient!
P/S: I filed everything on my own w/o any help of attorneys or lawyers. So lmk if you have any questions

Hey how long does it take for them to ship your EAD Card ? It’s saying card is been produce 4 days now . Do they even update it after the card is been ship out ? How can I get a tracking number I honestly just want my card already

EAD Expedite
On April 16th I applied for EAD renewal.My current EAD card expires Sep 15.
July 16th I called to make an expedite request via phone.Representative on the phone helped me but few days after I got mail that my situation is not serious enough for expedite.
July 25th I called and made second expedite request and few days after I received mail for evidence,I sent everything and today August 13th my status changed to new card is being produced.
Not sure how long it will take to get a card on hand but at least the system with expedition is working and hope it can help someone else as well.

F2A Oct/16... today marks 301 days.
Speechless I want to say? When I applied it supposed to take 90 days, I am at 3.5 times that. My wife is having such a bad time, and I am too now. Really this is a torture
