I was in the USA on an F-1 from Canada. I am on my OPT (expires Monday) and my job wants to keep me but I haven't received approval or any news about my EAD through the i485 application.
Priority Date: 4/30/18
Bio-metrics appt: 07/05/18
USCIS Changed Status to "Fingerprint Review was completed": 07/09/2018
CURRENT EAD EXPIRES: 08/13/2018
Processing at the NBC
I am currently at day 99. I know that they are behind and say 5-7 months processing time but I was wondering about a couple things:
Do I need to do my i-485 interview BEFORE they approve the EAD?
If I have a job can I expedite the process?
I also read that if after 90 days they haven't denied you they MUST approve it and then it just becomes a waiting game.
Honestly any help you can provide is helpful. I am the "breadwinner" for the house so I need to be out of work for as little time as necessary.

Fellow F2A peers from Oct/Nov. any news on your cases? We’re at 294 days (10/16/18), and my PD hopefully will be current next VB (8/11/16).
To be completely honest, my wife was taking it calmly but the last couple of weeks I have noted lots of anxiety from this. She is desperate without work or travel to visit her fam. Don’t know for how long USCIS is going to have us in this torture. I have an info pass for next Friday and also a pending SR (due by 8/13 according to them)

02-28-18 received receipt for eveything
3-20-18 bio metrics appointment
04-08-2018 uscis received bio metrics
**As of 8-6-2018 online, both I765 & I130 only that USCIS has recived my application, but no further info.
My application is at the NBC in Utah - The case is still within the estimate processing time which they recently update to 5 to 7 months.

Finally we are able to share our timeline, after months of reading experiences on this forum.
C9 married to USC
We sent i-130 on June 2017
I-130 got approved on 01/2018
Sent i-485 and i-765 on 01/23/2018
i-130 was sent to NVC by mistake on 02/02 after receiving package thinking my husband was in home country
RFE received 02/21 and they received our response on 03/06 (needed spanish original birth certificate)
Biometrics done 03/01/2018
07/24 case ready to be schedule for interview
07/25 they received 131 since green card was taking too long we decided to apply for this to be able to travel
08/04 new card is being produced
It has been 190 days for us waiting for the ead, months of frustration, fights, and a lot of desesperation.. but finally it ended. Hang in there.. it might take a while and it might seem forever but it will get approved!
