My receipt has a date of 4/2/208.
Today is day 122.

Did i also need to submit the I-131? I don't plan on traveling but I read that now the EAD card is for both ? by not submitting it, did i delay my process?

My receipt starts with MSC : The National Benefits Center

Fingerprint completed = background check still going
So apparently when your fingerprint has completed after your biometrics or if you were waived of the biometrics and they have use your previous fingerprints…… Your background check is still on going. Apparently some agencies that does background checks are very slow at getting back on the US CIS and it could take several months . I was really excited when I saw that my fingerprints were completed on June 25 but I didn't mean that my background check was completed and apparently had a SNOW on going

choosing the processing center ? Raising SR?
Hello,

I have a general question. Can we choose our processing center or does it automatically gets assigned to center that the USCIS choose?

:/ Does all of C9 EAD (married to USC) gets processed in National Benefits Center or could we request to have our processed somewhere else?

Other processing centers seems to have slightly better times than the national benefits center.

And... the processing time for national benefits just increased from 4.5-6.5 months to 5-7 months.

Should I raise SR? It has been almost 90 days for me. I think I can raise SR's once 75 days pass? Or should I follow the new processing time to raise my SR's for outside normal processing time?

I know it is taking 120-150+ but I am reading that some people have been raising SR's and get their EAD approval after a month. I want to be more pro-active with my case.

Still waiting (April)
PD: 05/2017
I-140: Approved in Feb 18
I-765/485 Filed: April 2018
Biometrics completed: June 2018
RFE (485): June 20
I've no idea whether the RFE for the 485 impacts the EAD. The information varies here and the attorneys tell me it doesn't--I have a mistrust for attorneys.
RFE received case no longer on hold: August 1st

Still waiting. Hopefully, things speed up because it's past the "90 days" for the EAD --As of today, it's 111 day, OR 77 Business days (I know that's an average and there are many here who are past that)

My H1b has since expired and i'm working on the 240 days grace period given when an extension is filed--again, trusting the attorneys here.

Increased processing time
The processing time has been updated to 5 - 7 months and the receipt date for inquiry went back to January 16th.

I hoped they were catching up with the backlog, while it is just worsening.

Very frustrating. I wonder why things are turning this way.
