I-765 march filler
Hi Everyone,

I am married to LPR.
Our PD is Nov 2016.
We filled for I-485, I-765 and I-130 on March 2018, case was received on March 19 2018.
On 04/06/18 I had biometrics done.
On 06/05/18 we had AOS Interview

That is still unclear to me... Is there a chance that I will be waiting for my work authorization until I will get my GC ? I am aware of those delays... I am just thinking that maybe because we've already had an Interview my I-765 and I-130 cases are some how eliminated ??

PS. I didn't get any information after an Interview.

EAD 115 days still waiting
Hey guys!

Dallas, TX - Marriage to USC

PD 02/21/2018

I-765 Status: “Fingerprint Review was completed” on 04/08/2018

It’s been 115 and no EAD yet. Hopefully I’ll get any response in 5 days.

I’m not even worried about the GC interview because I know that in Dallas they’re still intervieweing people from 01/2017

I-765 expedite request?
So my I-765 (EB-2) has now been pending for 130 days, and my current OPT will expire by the end of July. I start to worry that I won't receive the new EAD on time and may lose my current job.

I read that we can't submit SR when it is within processing time, so what else can I do at this point? Will contacting congressman help in this case? Also, my I-140 and I-485 are filed through a law firm. If I were to contact congressman or raise SR, can I do it myself to save legal fees?

I know there are still 20 days until my case is officially outside of normal processing time, but I am not that optimistic for my case.

Thanks.

Request for initial evidence was mailed
Hi guys,

The December filler here, married to USC.
After 183 days of waiting my status changed into "we mailed a request for initial evidence". How long does it usually take for them to make a decision on my case after they receive the evidence from me? Please share your experiences.

Thank you!!!!

Name was change for almost 3 months
I'm the spouse of L1 visa holder.
It's been 95 days, and my status haven't changed for almost 3 months (California).
I can't raise a SR, since it's "still within processing times" (which is 2.5 to 5 months in California).

I'm getting really worried due to two reasons:
1. My last update, from almost 3 months (shortly after the case was received), is "Name was updated". What is that about? Needless to say I didn't ask them to update anything.
2. In one of the online trackers, I see someone that his receipt date is a day after mine, also in California, also spouse of L2, and his/hers case was approved earlier this week.

I'm getting really worried... What is this "name was updated"? Can this indicate that my case will be delayed for some reason?
Is there anything I can do?

EAD card received
03/19/18 EB1A I485 and other forms mailed to USCIS

03/20/18 Case was received

04/06/18 Called USCIS customer service, request to expedite EAD CARD

04/09/18 USCIS rejected my request to expedite EAD card via email.

04/10/18 Contacted senator to expedite EAD card

04/25/18 I485 was transferred from Nebraska center to National benefit center

04/27/18 Senator replied, cannot help on expedite EAD card unless its beyond normal
                          processing time

04/30/18 Fingerprint

06/04/18 Contacted congresswomen office and expedite materials was submitted at their
                          side.

06/06/18 EAD card being produced and will be mailed to your address

06/11/18 EAD Card was mailed

06/14/18 EAD card received.

Our EAD card was received 84 days after package was received. We are so lucky that I can finally catch up my first job offer, which already expired the end of last month. I am not sure the card approval was because of the expedition request at the congresswomen side, or just due to the "unbelieveable" processting time of USCIS. I think we are just very lucky.....The congresswomen officers are so nice and willing to help us all the time. I defintely recommend contacting them if needed. This forum has been so helpful to us and I would like to thank you everyone who is here. Wish everyone gather your EAD card and greencard very soon!! Best wishes!!!
