When do you get your EAD after biometrics
I received my letter in 3 days. I received my biometrics appointment letter in 3 days. I got my biometrics appointment after 15 days of filing the application. Will that speed up my green card application process?

Emergency AP
Has anyone been successful in filing emergency travel document at their local field office? Sisters graduation in two weeks overseas and no sign of EAD yet. Please advise.

Waiting for my EAD since Oct. 23rd (NYC office)
Dear fellow waiters, dear fellow survivors of the system,

I have found this forum, hoping to lean on other's people wisdom, so I could keep my sanity.

Here is my story:
-> On 10/23 I have applied for I-765 (in NY), as part of my green card marriage application.

-> I got an appointment for Biometrics on 11/27

-> However I was applying for emergency travel approval, so they enabled me to do it on 11/07 (biometrics code 2.) They didn't receive my biometrics details for weeks and so I wasn't able to leave the states in time for my important event.

-> I then applied again for emergency travel approval for a different event. They sent me to do another biometric (now -- code 3) on 12/05 (they also told me the reason I didn't receive the approval for traveling the first time is that by mistake they sent me to the wrong biometric -- code 2 instead of code 3.) This time they did receive a clearance for my biometrics and I was able to receive my travel documents.

-> on 04/12 (when the USCIS processing times showed that they already processed applications from October) my lawyers have submitted a request for clarification of my status.

-> on 05/04 received a letter from USCIS that "this case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."

-> 05/22 received a "Curtesy Letter To Applicant" with the following details:
An Initial review of evidence submitted with your Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status determined that the evidence submitted is not sufficient to complete adjudication for the following reasons:
* A completed and signed I-693 was not submitted.
You will be required to submit information and evidence to overcome the aforementioned deficiencies at later date. Please follow these instructions:
* If you receive an interview notice in the mail, you must bring information to address these issues to your interview appointment.

-> This is the last I heard from them. So I am now 230 days since application.

The communication with my lawyers have been terrible, so I feel in complete darkness, Could anyone advise me:
? : Is my situation sounds normal/makes sense? I am trying to figure out if maybe something is wrong with my application. Is there a way to make sure that my situation is the result of a "normal" wait time and not of a faulty application?
? : From your experience, when I can expect this limbo to finally end.
? : Is there anything (besides filing a compliment, because they don't let me file another compliment) I can do right now to regain control over the situation?

Thank you for sharing this process with me.
This has been a very long 230 days... and it is good to know I am not alone in this.

p.s. I have a friend who has submitted in August in Pennsylvania and by November she had her green card (which made me feel as if the situation makes even less sense.

Interview date - Boston office
To all my fellow Boston (or Massachusetts) residents,

How long did it take for those of you who have already gone through the i-485 interview. How long did it take for you to get the date after your case was ready for scheduling?

Thanks!
