AOS Interview completed but my case must be reviewed
PD: jan.2, 2018
Biometrics: feb 15, 2018
AOS interview: April 25, 2018
EAD: got approved on June 8, 2018. Sent me a usps tracker, will get it on june 15.

I came as a B2 visitor, extended my visa and married to a US citizen. We had our initial interview last april 25, 2018, the IO is kinda rude. She told us that the only thing she can do is to interview me but couldnt make a decision yet because my i-130 is still not in their field office. On May 2, 2018, my i-130 was transferred to their office and just waiting for the approval (atleast thats what we thought, just waiting for it to get approved). My husband who is my petitioner got a letter for interview again regarding my i-130 on july 18, 2018. Will this be stokes interview? Anyone have the same experience as ours?

Traveling abroad with EAD combo card
Hi all,

I got my EAD combo card and planning to travel abroad (to my home country to visit grandparents)

Is there anything else (document, paperwork) that I need to bring or be aware of when I get back, except having my passport and EAD combo card?

Thank you all.

EAD Card in production
A quick update on my expedited case for EAD.

Married to USC.

On June 12th the status on Case Tracker changed to "New Card is Being Produced". However, I did not receive any e-mail nor text notification, and MyUSCIS account remains unchanged. Looked up some other experiences seems like the case tracker alone is a good enough indicator that my EAD card approved. Fingers crossed!

Does anyone have similar experience? My I-131 did not change either, but I really hope it was approved too..

Thanks all for sharing, I will update once received the card. All the best to those who have been struggling to have EAD approved, hope yours is in the near future!

Vermont - October 2017
This has been one crazy, mentally exhausting, bullshit, never ending ride waiting on this EAD!! I would like to share my experience because it was one of the only things that kept me going through this process is to read other people’s success story. Although I wouldn’t call this success, just pure utter luck!

I went in on October 16, 2017 to lawyers office to renew my work permit. (9th year doing so, must I mind you)

October 30, 2017 - Vermont Service Center received application

January 19, 2018 - Sent service Request - never responded

January 20, 2018 - my prior EAD expired and I was terminated from my job.

February 1, 2018 - Sent request to Ombudsman to expedite (they responded rather quickly, but information was completely wrong) - stated that I qualified for the 180 day extension but that was not the case because I am a C14 - would not follow through after informing of their mistake / would only tell me that they would resubmit an inquiry after the 180 days - they were **** wads (excuse my language)

February 9, 2018 - sent request to local Congressman to expedite. They submitted inquiry and USCIS responded with generic response. Congressman said they could submit again after 30 days.

March 14, 2018 - Sent Service Request - never responded

March 14, 2018 - congressman submitted again. Another generic response.

March 28, 2018 - Sent PRIORITY mail with a letter asking to expedite to Vermont Service Center (they received on March 30, 2018 according to tracking info)

April 9, 2018 - attended INFOPASS appt (4 hours from my home) - would not tell me anything and was told to have my **** expedited I needed to write a letter to Vermont Service Center!! - even explained that I did and nobody responded! WASTED TRIP

April 14, 2018 - congressman submitted again.... guess what?? Another bullshit response.

April 17, 2018 - Sent Service Request - never responded

May 15, 2018 - congressman submitted again - this was the one with momentum apparently because we received this back:
“From: USCIS - Vermont Service Center
Sent: Fri 05/18/2018 10:44 AM

Good morning,

Thank you for sending our office your inquiry on behalf of your constituent.

Thank you for submitting a copy of your constituent's signed Privacy Act release with your inquiry.

Your constituents application is currently pending assignment to an officer. Due to the age of the file, I will have it assigned to an officer for review.

We hope this information is helpful. If we may be of assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to contact Vermont Service Center Congressional Unit.”

June 6, 2018 - received notice that EAD was in production. - this also happens to be my birthday so I nearly **** my pants because my birthday wish came true! Thank you baby Jesus!!

May 30, 2018 - Lawyer submitted Service Request - never responded to my knowledge (may have but my lawyer is a real bad word - so wouldn’t know)

June 8, 2018 - EAD mailed

June 10, 2018 - USPS postal service picked up EAD (provided a tracking number a really **** awesome)

June 11, 2018 - EAD in hand and now I am waiting at DMV for a new drivers license to go back to work tomorrow!! - hurry up and wait

This whole process was ridiculous and I have never experienced this in the previous 9 years. Applying for my green card this year! Hopefully I don’t have to go through this nightmare again!

Good luck everyone! Seriously luck is the only thing that will help!

Signing off - until next time bitches!
-Templegirl

I-485 processing
How do we check the processing times for I-485 at NBC? I can't seem to find NBC in the list.

Your EAD card is being produced - it took 150 days.

Finally after 150 days I received the noticed that my EAD card is being produced.

Here is my timeline:

1-10 sent package

1-13 package at Po box

1-18 texts/e-mails

1-22 check cashed

1-22 got NOA1 in the mail

1-26 biometrics letter

2-6 courtesy letter

2-09 biometrics appt

5-31 Infopass - expedite EAD w/ letter from employer

6-11 Your card is being produced

Hang in there guys. I was getting deppresed thinking I was going to lose my job. I do not know if the letter really helped since the agent said at the infopass appt that my case was on the queue for the EAD and to have the interview scheduled. Doesn't hurt to try if you are in the same situation.
