Day 1 CPT college from STEM OPT
Hi Everyone!
Does anyone have any idea about changing the university to join a Day 1 CPT college since my STEM OPT is getting expired in June end.
Many of my friends from college whose H1 didn't get pick up or got denied are planning to do this.
Since I have no hope of my EAD coming anytime soon and Technically it's not a Change of status as I'm on F1, do you think it may affect my Green Card Processing in future in any way? I just don't want to sit without a paycheck for 2-3 months or maybe more god knows.
As of today, it's 85 days - I-485 married to a USC.
PS: USCIS has changed the timelines to 4-6 months for I-765 for pending I-485 @ NBC.

Hello guys! Here are some news (not very exciting though)
USCIS updated their website yesterday. The estimated time range for the EAD has changed.
Up until yesterday it was showing 2.5 months to 5 months (NBC)... but now it shows 4 months to 6 months (based on a pending I-485 adjustmentr application) or 6 to 8 months (all other applications).
The struggle is REAL

I am adjusting my status by Cuban adjustment act because my wife Cuban and LPR
She has low income about 14-15 thousands per year
So I decided to send request to USCIS to get EAD faster
Do I have chance? And which documents I need to send like proof?

Hi all. can somebody please help me what to do next or what actions shall i do about my application?
I was happy when I saw the processing date is June 13, 2017 and only one month to go my result will now come out. But as I checked again I've seen that the Vermont processing time has changed. I-539 form from 9-12 months to 10.5-13.5 months. I dont know what to feel and think. I dont know what processing time should i follow when inquiring about the updates of my application.
Im changing my status from tourist visa to F1 student visa.
Application date: July 12, 2017.
is there anything you can suggest to help me address this? please help. thank you so much.

OPT while AOS pending
Hello all,
I applied for Adjustment of Status through marriage to US citizen in March 2018 while on F-1 visa. I also filed for AP and EAD with that application. I am currently waiting for the interview to be scheduled (as of 5/22/18). No update on EAD status so far.
I am graduating in August 2018 and was wondering if I can apply for OPT authorization while my EAD through AoS is pending? I have heard conflicting information about whether that is allowed or not (since some believe that by applying for AoS you are giving up your current non-immigrant status and others believe that the status only goes away when AoS is approved). Does anyone have any experience with this? I am trying to make sure I am able to get a post-doc position for my career. Please help with any information you may have, it would be greatly appreciated.
