Category : A18
Documents for EAD renewal sent on 16th March
Docs received by Texas Center on 19th March and docs redirected to Vermont
Notice Date : 23rd March
Radio silence since 23rd March until 5th June
Checked status on 6th June which was updated to " new card being produced"
Roughly took 70 days for the renewal to happen. This was the second renewal for me. I got RFE in my first renewal process , so was anxious this time.
It seems Vermont center is doing better than some of the other centers (that is just my observation)
All the best to folks who are waiting for their EADs to come.

Ombudsman office
Ombudsman says they have no info about my case when they sent me two email saying they are still waiting for response from USCIS. Now they lost the communications between me and them. If this is the office that supposed to stand up for us is doing this, then no surprise USCIS is doing worse.

Married to USC citizen. Here is my timeline:
PD: 01/17/18
Bio: 02/05/18
Request for expedite via phone: 05/29/18
Email asking to send proof of financial loss: 05/31/18
Job offer letter faxed: 05/31/18
Infopass to ask about the status of my case: 06/04/18
Phone call to ask about the status of my case (Tier 2 officer): 06/05/18
Case approved: 06/06/18
Total: 140 days.

EAD Renewal / 180 day extension
Hello everyone, question about EAD renewal. Any input will be much appreciated
So my EAD expires 08/17/2018.
I filed I765 for renewal and PD was 05/29/2018
My category is C09 - Spouse of US Citizen
I spoke to an office this morning and they told me my I797C - Notice of Action has been sent. Does anyone know how long it will take till I receive it?
Also, from what I understand, I will receive an automatic 180 day extension after I receive my I797C - Notice of Action. However, I am having a hard time convincing my employer about this extension. I even sent them a link for the USCIS Employer Handbook where it details the 180 day extension. There only reply was, if your EAD card is not renewed by the expiry date 08/17/2018, we will terminate you.
How can I convince them? Will the I797C-Notice of Action have any details about the extension?

300 plus days
Based on what I have seen, seems like I might be heading for 300+days on my EAD. It is 250 days and I haven't heard anything yet.

Just got approval notification for my EAD. Still haven't heard about AP.
I'm assuming it'll be here in a week.

Honestly this was a stressful and really really hard journey but I can finally just get on with my life. Thanks everyone for sharing your timelines. I can finally go back to work! Good luck!
