Any experience?
I have read several comments over here, but all of them are people who process the EAD by themselves. Does anybody have had an experiences like the one I will describe?

My husband was moved to US fot his job. Since we work in the same company, the comapny is processing my EAD. My husband was moved as a L1 and me as L2.

Do I have any hope to get my EAD earlier since it is processed by the company and by a person who's work is make this kind of processes for the relocated employees?

Have someone had something like this?

I-765 sent with mistake on date of birth, was the mistake fixed before processing?
I-765 sent with mistake on date of birth, was the mistake fixed before processing?
Hi, my attorney filed an EAD application for me. However, I realize that after he sent it , he put the wrong date of birth. I waited until I got a receipt number from uscis and sent them a letter with a copy of i-797 and my passport to fix the wrong date of birth. The letter was received Mon 5/21/2018.I also filed an e-request for typographic error to ask them to fix it. On 5/26/2018 I saw they updated the status to card being produced and I am really worried they might send the card with the incorrect date of birth, would that be possible?

8 year old son is first to receive EAD/AP combo Card!
We applied March 1, 2018 for 485, 765 and 131. AOS....Currently both me and my husband are working under TN Status.

Our 8 year old just received his combo card which was approved on May 17, 2018. Anyone else out there have a similar experience? Fantastic he was approved so quickly, but he obviously can't work, nor travel without us, lol.

We filed in Texas, Fingerprints were completed on March 19, 2018 and we received notice on May 15, 2018 that we were transferred to NBC. Is it a good or bad thing when a case gets transferred? We are fortunate that we can currently work, but we still need the EAD due to the uncertainty of the NAFTA and Trump.

Expedite EAD card
Spouse of H1B visa holder

We submitted our i-485, i-765 and i-131 forms for EB1A application on 03/20/18

I got my first job offer later and it expires by the end of June, so I called USCIS first to request expedite my EAD card approval on 04/07, but got this reply via email a couple of days later "Thank you for your inquiry. The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is aware of the delay in processing of this type of application. At this time, files will only be expedited if a true emergency exists. The I-765 teams are diligently working to manage the backlog and process expedites, as well as tackling the normal first in/first out inventory. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing."

Then I contacted one congressman in our state, but the officer said they can't help expedite my EAD card.
Contacted a senator later in April, after filling a couple of forms and waited for two weeks, the office told me "Our office is best able to assist constituents when their cases move outside of normal processing parameters. Unless waiting times appear unusual or outside normal procedural delay, our office is unable to intervene"

So both my requests to expedite the EAD card from either USCIS and congressman/senator were rejected....

My job offer is going to expire in four weeks. Getting really frustrated and anxious during this whole waiting process. It seems that it usually takes the USCIS on average about 4-5 months to approve your EAD card. We have only waited for 65 days so far, but I really couldn't afford to wait for another three months... I really appreciate anyone could help to answer a few questions below:

1. According to the reply that I recevied from USCIS, EAD card expedite request only opens for emergency case, is it true?

2. Does anyone know if it is appropriate to contact the USCIS the second time for expediting EAD card?

3. If the USCIS reject my request to expedite EAD card again, will that affect my green card application?

4. I tried to seek help from one congressman and one senator, they both claimed not being able to help expedite EAD card. Does this happen to all congressman and senator office, should I try more? Although these two people are the only two that has an office in my little town, there are few more congressman and senator having offices in other cities of my current state.

My timeline for EB1A, i485 applications:

03/19/18 EB1A I485 and other forms mailed to USCIS

03/20/18 Case was received

04/06/18 Called USCIS customer service, request to expedite EAD CARD

04/09/18 USCIS rejected my request to expedite EAD card via email.

04/25/18 I485 was transferred from Nebraska center to National benefit center

04/30/18 Fingerprint

……………

Thank you everyone for whom read/help my case, wish we all have our EAD card and green card approved soon!~

Finally got EAD Approval
This has been a very long wait, 8 months to be exact! 238 days. But finally got my EAD approval email. Here is my timeline and everything I tried

F2A, NBC, Married to LPR
Currently on H1B, first came to US in 2003 as F1
PD: Sep, 01 2016
RD: Oct 02, 2017
Home Office : San Francisco
Service Request submitted : 6 online and calling customer service
Called L2 officer (asked to be transfered) - everyday almost
Infopass appointments - 3 (they were all useless)
Asked for help from Ombudsman on March 6th
Asked for help from Congressman on March 20
Asked for help from Senator on April 2
EAD Approval Date : May 25, 2018
Greencard Interview: Pending
Greencard: Pending

I got a lot of conflicting information when I called customer service and spoke to L2 officers. One L2 officer told me that I need an interview for EAD approval. Another L2 officer sald that my interview needs to be scheduled before they gave me my EAD card! Another L2 officer said that my background check needs to be complete before they give my EAD card. I dont believe any of the above is true and they just make up stuff.

What helped me to finally get my EAD card (hoping it is a combo card) - Honestly I would advice someone who is still waiting to do everything because you do not know what might help. The whole process is a mystery. I think Ombudsman and Congressman were the most instrumental and follow up with them everyday. Call them and speak to someone personally. Also last week I submitted a letter from my employer which stated my role and the fact not being able to travel is hurting the company financially. I head the North America and EMEA markets and have not been able to go to a single office in EMEA.

Honestly, the road is long and extremely frustrating and there will be lots of down periods. that is what this community is for and I recieved so much support. very thankful for it. Keep yourself busy, take a short trip, if not on H1 then sign up for classes, volunteer, pick up a new hobby. Else this will play a very heavy toll on you mentally and your relationships.

Another piece of advice, if you are an H1 get a letter from employer. If you are not on H1, go on interview s and get an offer letter. Submitting this I realized too late does add pressure on the officer to do something about since is a piece of evidence submitted.

Also had a quick questions
1. How do I get my tracking number? My case status on myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov has not changed, but my case status on the old website egov has changed with "New Card is being produced" But I dont see any tracking number.

2. How many days from status change will I recieve my EAD card?

3. When can I expect my greencard interview to be scheduled? Is there anything I can do about it?

Thank you everyone and anyone who is still waiting wish you good luck. Your day will come soon.
