Waiting for EAD... waiting... waiting...
Hi, everyone!

So, today marks exactly 100 days that USCIS received my I-765 case.
I have already had my biometrics collected and everything.

Well, according to their website, the estimated time range is 2.5 months to 5 months (based on a pending I-485adjustment application) - which happens to be my case. Anyway, if their estimate is correct, then I should get my card somewhere in the next 50 days. BUT, reading some of the comments here in this forum, I can't help getting a little worried when I see that some people had to wait 200+ days to obtain their document.
So my question is... are these just exceptions/isolated cases or this absurd amount of time seems to be happening with everybody right now?

update
Today i receive a update on my i-765 which is odd because received my approval and EAD card last year but at the end of the email says that this step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document
im still waiting for my i485 to be approved
Has anyone received an update for the wrong receipt? or have something similar happen on your status?

No receipt for a month
Hi All,
I'am an employment based petition. My employer informed me that they mailed the packet to USCIS with the help of an immigration lawyer last May 4, 2018. I have read that it takes around 10-14 working days to receive a receipt from uscis. If I'am going to the math, its already been 18 days and I havent received any text, email or mail from uscis. I tried calling USCIS and they asked for my receipt number which I do not have. They just search for it thru my name and birthday. They informed me my name was not in the system yet and she will elevate me to another officer to help me but because of the long que waiting I hang up. Is anybody experiencing a long wait from there receipt? Is this still normal or should I worry?
thanks everyone.

L2 EAD Application Status changed
Hi All,
I visit this forum occasionally and this forum helped me in preparation of my wife's L2 EAD application. This forum gave me a courage and boosting during " L2 EAD waiting period". Below are the time lines.

Processing Center: Vermont

Sent documents through USPS priority mail, (charged around $20+) : 06-April-2018
Documents Received date : 06-April-2018
(For some reason, document received date is same as mailed date on USCIS note and website)
Acknowledgement received by mail : 12-April-2018
.
.
.
Status chaged to "New Card Is Being Produced" : 29-May-2018

"On May 29, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EACxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us."

Waiting for the card in my mail box.

Hope this experience will help to some of you.

I-485 transferred to MSC
I-140 approved (EB1a) - TSC

I-485, 765 and 131 concurrently applied - TSC .

I-765 and I-131 - status remains the same - no idea where they are being processed - assuming it is at TSC.

I-485 case is now transferred to the NBC, Lee's Summit, Missouri.

How does this impact the processing time for I-485?

or, that of I-765 and I-131 ?

My timeline
Hi everyone ,this site has provided me with a lot of useful resources and I want to share my timeline with you all.

I was on F1 OPT visa that expired on 2/23/2018. Filing under AOS C3 (Married with US citizen), I am using a immigration lawyer to ensure everything is correct before sending everything out.

- 02/09/2018: PD USCIS received my case at National Benefit Center
- 02/20/2018: Fingerprint Fee accepted for I-485
- 03/14/2018: Biometrics
- 04/15/2018: I was interviewing and signed with a company. Offer letter in hand
- 04/18/2018: Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview (I-485) (this doesn’t mean anything!)
At this point, I was panicking since I talked to my lawyer and was told that I won’t be getting my EAD until late July. They told me there is no way to expedite work permits.
- 04/24/2018: called USCIS and talked to a L2 officer and she helped me make an expedition request based on financial loss on the phone. (I was nice, didnt complain or get upset, just understand they have heard the same thing over and over again.)
- 04/25/2018: Got 3 updates on my USCIS case status page. 1. expedition request assigned to an officer for response. 2. we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited. 3. your request to have your case expedited, referral number Txxxxxxxxxxx, was completed.
- 04/26/2018: Found my congressman website( manhattan NY), and created a case on his website platform. You would also need to sign a waiver to let them access your private infos before you can create the actual case. I called beforehand to his office to confirm with a staff member.
- 04/27/2018: No response yet so I called again to the office and this time I got to talk to the congressman’s case worker who is going to handle my case. She told me its going to be difficult since a lot of people are trying to expedite their EADS and USCIS is only accepting the most urgent ones. She also said to increase my chances, I should send her everything that can prove my financial loss claim.
- 04/28/2018: I sent her my offer letter, medical bills.
- 05/07/2018: Got an email from the case worker saying ‘your case has been routed for expedited processing’
- 05/15/2018: update on my case status online to: We ordered your new card
- 05/23/2018: We mailed your new card
- 05/24/2018: The Post Office picked up mail containing your new card
- 05/26/2018: Card In Hand!

Total about 100 days from PD to having my card in hand.

I hope my experience helps some of you and don’t give up!
