Hi guys
So I sent over a request to have my EAD expedited since i have been waiting since 12/4/17 and I just started a new job that did not take my expired EAD and both my husband (USC) and sponsor have lost their jobs
I got the following responses:
On May 9, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxxxMSC, was completed.
On May 9, 2018, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxxMSC.
On May 8, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxxxMSC, was assigned to an officer for response.
Does anyone know what this means? Will I need to send evidence?

Getting very frustrated. Need advice badly

Received i797 that case was received Nov 6 2017
Fingerprinted December 5th 2017
March 5 th 2018 First SR - no answer
April 12th 2018 Second SF - no answer
April 18th Contacted Ombudsman Office
April 19th - Expedited Request
April 20th - Sent proof of evidence for expedited request and then no answer
May 1st - Ombudsman office contacted USCIS and will let me know when they get a response - nothing yet
May 4th SR on Expedited request - nothing yet
May 7th Contacted the Congressman office but haven't received word on them contacting USCIS yet.
I haven't received the first response from USCIS . All these Service Requests and nothing. Since April they always put me on the phone with an officer and they keep on saying everything looks find, you should get a response soon, if not within 15 days, then call back. Last time officer put a SR. He said that is ALL they can do.
Very frustrated as I have a job offer and I cannot miss this opportunity. Any advice. Others still waiting or already received work permit ?

Bad day for me.!
Today isn’t a good day for me my USC wife that file for me has been cheating on me for god know how long today she just moved out of the house and also from the state we she filed for me , she quits her job to move another man she’s going to be starting another job in the state she moved to I hope that won’t affect my applications if she change her ID. I won’t cry no more I know am strong whatever happens from here I wish everyone good luck on this page. I will overcome this.

Can I get a DL without a valid Visa. EAD pending..
Hey! I'm wondering if anyone can help e with my situation.
I am married to USC and came to the US with Visa Waiver Program. My Visa is already expired and my EAD is pending since December.
I was told that I'm allowed to drive in USA with my international DL for one year, but I found out that this might not be accurate anymore after my visa expired (even though my EAD application is pending).
I also don't have a SSN yet.
Does anyone have experiences of a similar situation?
Is there a way of getting a DL with proof of a pending EAD or Green Card application, even though your previous visa is already expired?
I called the local DMV but they weren't sure if it's possible or not...

230 Days, no sign of EAD
OK, so I have contacted the Senator, contacted the ombudsman office, raised more than 5 SRs and attended infopass appointment and almost everyone including the senator and infopass officer says the same thing that the background and security check is holding my EAD. According to the infopass uscis officer I485 is in queue for scheduling an interview, which can take months.
I filed in Sept end and biometrics were done in mid of Oct. I have no clue what to do now.
My question is, is there is a possibility that they will hold my EAD until the greencard interview? Can anyone sailing in the same boat please update here. That will give us an idea how many people have been waiting since Sept/Oct or even earlier.

EAD approved Feb 2018 and post office returned the card.
called multiples times and contacted congressman office and ombudsman.
Finally May 8th, 2018 card was resent. called and obtained a tracking number from an L2 officer. went to the post office and picked it up this morning after it arrives there. I had to sign to pick it up. it was first class mail.

F2A just moved 1 week for June’s VB... I don’t know if that’s actually good or bad, a part of me thinks they are so backlogged that they want to finish what they have in queue before start processing more cases and another part thinks they are just letting spouses of LRP completely out of priority. I can’t believe that to be honest. My wife has lived here for 6 years doesn’t even have a parking citation, and my case evidence is really strong, why are they taking so long reviewing. :(

in the midst of October,I had my applications Submitted with my co sponsor tax return
10/26/2017 they reject it due to improperly filling
10/30/2017 resubmitted it
11/27/2017 they requested for Initial evidence. They don’t accept my co sponsor tax return . My case was on hold
2/7/2018I submitted my husband’s tax return ( waited for 2 months since RFE date)
4/24/2018 I contacted Ombudsman's Office if they can help
4/25/2018 I got a respond from Ombudsman's Office
5/3/2018 my case is ready to be scheduled for interview
5/4/2018 they ordered a new card
5/7/2018 card was produced
5/8/2018 they approved my case and got approve notice on the same day

I have still been waiting for that
I was so paranoid of waiting for this card. But I pray and have a belief in god. Fortunately my husband knew that I desperately waited for the card. So he adopted a dog for me, so I can hang out with my dog and forgot the waiting game. For those who has not had the card. Pray and believe! That day is not that far!!
