How long is taking for J2 visa holders to get their approved EAD? my work permit expires on June 6th, sent my application on February. I'm renewing my card, but I'm worried it will not be approved before June 6th. I'm not sure what to do in that situation.

I wanted to share my experience.
Married to US citizen
PD: 12/22/2017, National Benefits Center
12/22/17 application received
1/29/18 RFE for I485 (needed taxes, but I already sent them but guess they wanted 2017 tax return)
1/30/18 bio done
2/16/18 RFE received by USCIS
5/7/18 Your card is being produced
It's definitely a longer process now to receive your EAD but I wouldn't read to much into how long other people have been waiting. Unfortunately it matters where you're from, how you got here, who you're married to, etc.
I talked to a tier 2 officer and he explained that if an applicant has been waiting for longer than what the processing time is, it's probably because something in their initial application is holding it up. I'm sure you will have an answer within the processing time if you have done everything right! Hang in there!

Need help!
I put in an expedite request last week and got a letter on Friday requesting evidence to expedite.
My employer said they would provide me a letter saying I'll be terminated on May 11 but today they're saying their legal team won't let them.
Originally, I was going to send a letter explaining my situation, employers letter saying I will be terminated and bills.
What can I provide as evidence to USCIS?? Please help!

EAD card received today!!
Hello everyone!
I'm so happy to share my EAD experience how the process went in last couple of months.
Category: a18 (L2 ead renewal)
Service Center : Vermont
Here is my timeline for EAD renewal application:
Jan 26th : Sent all necessary documents + $410 Filing fee to Texas Service Center
Jan 29th : documents received by them
Fen 2nd : Received email saying my case is routed to Vermont Center for the processing with Receipt number EAC1890048ZZZ.
Apr 17th : Raised first SR. They asked me to wait for 30 days.
Apr 25th : Called USCIS customer service, asked to wait for 30-60 days. It was not helpful.
Apr 27th : Contacted Congressman and shared my case documents over email.
Apr 30th : Case was Approved
May 3rd : Received approval notice over mail
May 7th : Received EAD card over USPS priority mail today.
Hope this will be helpful to others!
Thank you very much guys, I was following immihelp EAD experience almost everyday. It really helped me and I strongly suggest everyone to contact Congressman. In my case, Congressman was very helpful.

Hello everyone. I applied for a family-based green card and employment authorization card [the type being a C9]. The notice of action for the I-765 Application: Should the case type say "I-765, Application for Employment Authorization" or "I-765, Application for Employment Authorization based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)]"? A18 right fee?
Hi All,
I just received my wife's EAD rejection due an incorrect fee? does category A18 require biometrics fee of $85.00 plus $410.00 of the I-765 fee?
Also is it ok that I send a personal check on behalf of my wife's? or they expect a personal check from my wife? Shall I re-send the same form or it will be ok to send back the package received with the new check?

Expedite request contacting congressman
Hi,
I requested an expedite service three weeks ago and went to the congressman's office on April 26. My status on USCIS website has not changed and I have not heard back from congressman.

March/2: USCIS received the response of the request
March/16: Congressman answered not helpfull and need to wait more 60 days
