Status update
Hey guys,

I have learned so much through this forum, so let me share my timeline with you all.

Send application 12/8/2017

Case received 12/15/2017

Biometric done 1/26/2018

I created an account with USCIS to get updates, my case status has been showing that my document was mailed to me since February 9 2018. I called customer service many times each agent gave me a different answer. Raised Srs for enquiry, expite they were assigned and compleated but nothing. March 6 I called customer service I was told that my address was incorrect because a notice was returned. I requested that my address be changed I didn't moved but my lawyer typed one number incorrect for my zip code on my form I 765 all the other forms zip code was correct that's why I got confirmation that my case was received. I got an email yesterday saying my case was still been reviewed and there are no update dates last action was taken December 19 2017. At 10:45 last night I checked my status before I went to bed and I got this update " we ordered your new card and will mail it to you". This morning I got an email saying we took action on your case. I am so excited seem this process is getting closer.

My case category is c9

Office is NBC

Congratulations to those who got approved and best of luck to those who are still waiting.

God is good I'm pray for you.

November 2017 filer here
Hey guys, long time lurker here.I'd love to share my timeline below:

I765 C(9)
Filed: Nov 17 2017
Received date: Nov 21 2017
Bio done: Dec 27 2017

Raised first SR through phone end of Feb but it doesn't show on website,I guess they never took it seriously and ask me to wait for 30 more days. After that, nothing came back to me(no email/mail/phone call).
Raised second SR March 20th,been told to wait again.Trying talk to a L2 office, but they didn't respond on the same day.
Raised third SR through website end of March and finally something showed on the website."On April 6, 2018, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application was assigned to an officer for response. "And then
On April 7, 2018, we requested information on your case to best respond to your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application.

I've been waiting for 140 days and nothing, neither of my other AOS cases(I485/I130) is moving at all.I also noticed the pattern from a cell phone app, that if someone receive their EAD in such short time they normally has their I485 moved to "case waiting for interview" section.
I am very impatient now because of this delay, does anyone know if I should contact ombudsman/senator's office or info pass. Please feel free to leave comments and hope everyone got their EAD in time.

Got it after 190 days!!
Hi All,
I finally got my card two days go after 190 days!! I did everything possible based on recommendations from this forum but it still took that long. Only option i didnt try is the congressmen. So i dont think any of that really worked for me but there seems to be other people here that those methods worked for and they got their cards in 100-120 days. I just wasnt one of those lucky ones. But its something that is out of my control so I didnt lose hope. I even lost one job offer that was my top choice because of this delay, but what can I do? such is life. On to the next one! so dont lose hope no matter what happens. In the long term, when you look back, this would just be a small road bump.

here is my timeline:

situation: application for EAD through marriage to US citizen. also applied for travel document.

-9/29/2017 case received (National Benefit Center,MO)
-10/28/2017 request for initial evidence ( tax forms, even though i sent them the first time. i see a lot of people here had this experience of being asked for things they already submitted. This seems to be a corrupt way for them to buy more time i guess because the processing clock resets when this happens. Meaning the number of processing days are counted from the day you respond to this request.
-11/9/2017 response to initial evidence received ( so this is when the clock starts)
-Feb 2018: submitted so many different inquiries through the 1-800 call center. level one and 2.
-02/08/2018: submitted expedite request(based on financial loss) through 1-800 number
-02/12/2018: they emailed and asked for proof of job offer for expedite request. faxed it to them the same day. i never got a approval or denial for this expedite request after this!
-03/05/2018 - submitted ombudsman request
-03/21/2018 - got response from ombudsman that they contact USCIS
-04/02/2018 - status updated on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ to "we are producing your card". the other status check website still didnt have this update so dont use that website.
-04/08/2018 - card received in mailbox

Stay optimistic!

EAD Delays for DACA
I have had the worst experience with EAD delays, I still haven't received it and I am starting to lose hope. I am afraid of losing my jobs. Please review my timeline and advice me if there is anything else I can do that I haven't done thus far.
11/7/2017 - Was sent to bio-metrics
11/8/2017 - Approved Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
EAD was approved. Card sent for production
-Card was not received-

2/2/2018 - Filed a service request w USCIS
2/17/2018 - Letter indicated EAD Card was undelivered will be resent in 120 day.
3/19/2018 - Contacted congressman
4/7/2018 - Congressman responded indicating they have contacted Congressional Liaison at the USCIS Potomac Service center.

I am losing hope and I am desperate for answers.

I765 Service Requests
Hello, my i765/i131 have been pended for 176 days now it is based on a pending marriage i485 request, the receipt date is 10/16/18 I opened a Service Request online on 03/15/18 which was supposed to have an answer on 03/27. I got no answer so I opened another over the phone with a higher tier rep on 03/28 and it is supposed to get responded by 04/28. So far the request hasn’t been assigned to anybody and it’s been 2 weeks.

Is this normal that they take so long to make a decision or reply to service requests?
Also, how long normally it takes to get assigned? I have a feeling they won’t do anything with this request either.

It is worth saying I did everything through my immigration lawyer who keeps telling me everything is normal (the delay, no answers) ,but I have a sense now that they don’t know and that USCIS won’t reply to this request either.

Thanks so much! Appreciate your response

EAD Pending 7 months - need advice
This forum has been so helpful. I am on my last thread of sanity. My case is C9 - marriage based, NBC. My PD is 09/01/2016, RD - 10/02/2017. Has been 7 months and there has been no updates. I have tried many things suggested by fellow members who were in the same boat
1. Filed several SRs - got messages "no update on your case" and some are not even answered
2. Spoken to L2 officer
3. Done infopass twice (San Francisco office)
4. Contacted Ombudsman 4 weeks ago - they are waiting to hear back from USCIS
5. Contacted Senator Kamala Harris - her office has been completely unhelpful. Submitted the request 30 days ago and got picked up by a case worker on Monday. All they can do is submit a request of status with USCIS, and don't think they will do very much

What are my options at this point? I am going to be put on LOA and cannot pay my bills with "hope". Would love some advice from folks. Thank you
