PD on Nov '17 LIN Center - Confused to calculate I765
Hi All,

Actually I'm still confused between Priority Date(PD) and Received Date(RD),
I'm doing new application for EB2 in October 2017 but two times failed - I797 notice of action because of outdated version forms, finally on November the USCIS accepted and I got PD in I140 and 1 month later got RD for forms I765, I485, I131.

So in website : https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
In that website Check Case Processing Times based on my SC in Nebraska for I765:
3 Months to 5 Months - Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)] - November 01, 2017

My Question :
What exactly USCIS processing time based date for I765 ? based on PD or RD ?
Since there's no PD in I765.

Thank you so much for your answer and help !!

After EAD, Social Security Number wait time?
Received the EAD today after waiting almost 130 days and realized that a SSN is needed for employment as well. I checked the box on the I-765 to have a SSN sent. How long does that take to come after receiving the EAD?

Applying for SSN concurrently with the EAD
Hi all,

I wanted to share my experience with everyine on here.
Here’s my timeline:

10-23-2017: PD
10-25-2017: Case received by USCIS
01-22-2018: First SR raised, no response
02-10-2018: Second SR raised, no response
02-21-2018: Called USCIS, talked with an T2 representative, was told to wait 30 days
02-22-2018: Called congressman’s office, third SR raised, told to wait 15 days
03-22-2018: Received SR response “Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.”
03-23-2018: New card is being produced
03-24-2018: Case approved
03-26-2018: Card mailed
03-27-2018: Received card in the mail

Total: 155 days

So my question is for those who have applied for their social security card concurrently with the EAD using the current form I765. How long does it take to receive the SSN in mail after receiving the EAD?

Received EAD
Aug30th, 2017; Filed in for i765
October16th, 2017: Uscis received RFE from me for i485
March24th, 2018: We are producing your card and will mail it to you
March26th, 2018: We are approved your case
March28th, 2018: We mailed your card to you. The U.S portal will deliver it.
I highly recommend that you use the new updated site where you have to create an account. The old site which is the normal way of checking case status is still stuck in Case approved Aug24th, 2017. So now i am patiently waiting for my interview to be scheduled.
