EAD cards moving faster
I am filling I-130/I-485/I-765 soon based on marriage to US citizen. I have read on the forum that things are moving.....slowly.......

Anyway, it seems as though things are moving faster. I was on the tracker on this website, and I exported the reported cases that had an EAD approved based on c(9) at the national benefits center (so this is only for spouse of US citizen). The average from June 2017 - Dec 2017 took an average of 119 days to approve, and the average from January 2018 - March 2018 is 85 days.

So it seems things are moving faster this year. This matches up from what I have seen people posting. It seems as though filers from around August - October last year are having the toughest time.

What are you thoughts?

Work
Hey guys!
I'm still eagerly waiting for my EAD after 100+ days :( I have a pending job offer which I really hope not to lose due to this delay, so I will want to start working the first day I am eligible to. Do you know if I can only start working the first day I have the physical EAD card with me (after it had arrived in the mail) or I can start before that -- once I get notified that it has been issued and is on its way to me?

Thank you!

EAD in 102 days with RFIE
Currently on H1b, filed family (US Citizen) based green card EAD.
Service Center – MSC/NBC
102 Days – EAD Card in hand

Learnings -
1. I think RFIE on I-485 does not impact EAD card timeline.
2. Raising service request after 90 days seems to be more helpful in expediting your case. So be patient before you raise a request.
3. Use https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ website to track your case. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/logon.do still shows that my case is received.

Below is my detailed timeline:
• Priority Date – Dec 04 2017
• Finger Prints – Jan 03 2018
• "Request for Initial Evidence Was Mailed" for I-485 letter - hard copy letter received – Jan 12 2018
*Reason I-130A form and Marriage certificate missing. ( I did miss the I-130A form but had sent the marriage certificate in my original filing)
• "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received" was updated on USCIS website for I-485 – Jan 19 2018
• Status on I-485 on USCIS website changed to - Case Is Ready to Be Scheduled For An Interview – Feb 1 2018 * The status for I-765 and I-131 remained same - my Case Was Received.
• First service request raised – 91 days - March 5 2018
• EAD and Advance Parole approved. Online status changed – 95 days https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant
• Recieved hard copy of the I-765 and I-131 approval notice at my address – 99 days
• Received EAD Card in mail via USPS Priority Mail – 102 days

AUG FILLER!!! EAD/AP - Card being produced - 205 DAYS
Hi everyone,
Finally today, after 205 days, my status has changed to CARD BEING PRODUCED.
Just wanted to share my experience since I know how frustrating is this long waiting process:

EAD/AP - NBC - Marriage based (c09)
Received date: 08/28/17
Biometrics: 09/25/17
First SR: 01/29/18 - Didn't hear anything back
Second SR (tier 2): 02/26/18 - Didn't hear anything back
Congressman: 03/07/18 - Didn't hear anything back
Ombudsman: 03/10/18 - I received an email on 03/14 explaining they contacted USCIS about my case and they would notify me regarding any updates from UCSIS.

CARD BEING PRODUCED: 03/21/18 (the status' changed only on the website: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov . The other one still shows "Case was received").

Guys, I honestly don't think that any of the resources I mentioned above were helpful. The Ombudsman email seems very standard and I didn't get any update from them since the status has changed on the USCIS website.

I was very frustrated and anxious to receive these documents for many reasons, then on last week I decided to change my mindset and started picturing this f***ng cards arriving in my place, I stopped coming to this website to read the experiences (the bad ones were driving me nuts), I even filled out the Social Security form YESTERDAY, just to try to keep the positivity lol... it can sound silly, but I really believe that this was what helped me the most (but of course you also need to be realistic about your timeline).

Good luck to all of you and always remember to keep the positivity!

EAD filer in December
Hello, I applied for my first ead card in December and I received the receipt on December 09.
I'm F-1 visa status.
Is there anyone who already received an ead card from December filers?
I called them to ask how long it takes and my case was assigned for review. It turns out they haven't reviewed my case yet so they want me to wait more patiently.
I guess I can't wait patiently since I already blew my job offer as the card got delayed.
Does it take forever because it's my first time to get it? or The process usually takes this long?
I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys
Thanks!!

Initial EAD
My PD is November 7
Biometrics Dec 4

Up to this day I have heard nothing. I raised 4 Sr none of which have been assigned to a officer. Yesterday I decided to call and was advised a service request would be put through for a tier 2 officer to contact me...I have not received a call as yet but the new referral number that he gave me T1D××××××××WKD, as of today shows assigned to officer

What does the prefix WKD stand.
