New website for uscis processing times
Dear All,
I just found that the uscis published new webpage to provide more accurate processing time at :
https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
It shows 2.5 to 5 months for EAD applicstion at NBC (MSC) based on pending i-485 and not accepting inqueries before 5 months.
So, if you have filed less than 5 months no worries you are still in the timeframe. However, mine have taken longer and i feel very stressful.

Hi All,
My case was registered 1 Dec 2017 with VSC, and I just got an update saying my card is being produced. The message said however it can take up to 120 (!!) days before it is delivered. What are your experciences with this? How long does it usually take after the message that it is being produced?

Sick delay
I have applied I-130/I-1485 and the work permit application. My case is registered on November 7th. Since then I did not receive any information, any update regarding my work permit. I already set twice so called "inquiry to the case" First on Febuary and second on March 4th. Tilll now I did not receive any feedback from USCIS. What is going on? Whenever I call USCIS office they are telling me that they don`t have any answers untill some other office response to my "inquiry to the case". Jesus I am so frustrated! Is that normal? When I was applying it was written in the documents that they have up to 90 days to grand me a work permit. I already lost a job because employer could not wait that long.

Did any of you guys on here have to take a leave of absence?
I didn't really tell my boss yet that EAD's are getting delayed or when I got hired because I didn't know that this was going to be an issue. My EAD is set to expire in may and if I don't get my card till then, I'm not sure how to have this conversation with HR... anyone have any insight?

Card in production
When I started the process (c09) I thought I would wait two or three months, well it took me eight months! Finally after contacting ombdusman uscis is producing my card, Im really happy. Somebody gave me an advice days ago, “lets enjoy our days if not those days of waiting are short, like the mom who is pregnant who enjoy nine months before the baby coming instead of being anxious” Sure people give opinions, but they dont know how we feel about uncertainty, anyways, about time!

I received electronic respond on my case inquiry that I raised one month ago.
" On 3/22/18 your inquiry about case status on EAD, referral number ......MSC, was assigned to an officer for response"
Then next message also today
"We sent a response to your inquiry case status on EAD, referral number.......MSC."
Then third one also today:
" Yor inquiry on case status referral number......MSC, was completed."
Can anyone let me know what is that mean?
Will something be sent to me in the mail?
If it's completed , so what is the answer?
I am so confused

I saw this on a legal site somewhere, can someone who has been through EAD/AP renewal confirm or deny this?
Q: When does the validity of the new EAD/AP card start?
A: The renewed EAD/AP card is typically valid from the date it was renewed. Example: If your card expires in January and you renew it in October, your new card will be valid from October.
So my EAD expires May 1st, I applied to renew it at the beginning of February, does this mean when i finally get my renewal (in several months or however long it is taking) then the validity will start in February?

I applied for H4 EAD renewal on 15 Nov, 2017 and status still shows Case was received? I raised the Service request and sent request to uscis to expedite the process as my current EAD is valid till 04/09/2018.
