New Card is Being Produced
I promised myself, once I get mine I'll share my experience for all of those out there running out of hope.

Married to LPR (C9)
NBC

01/03/2019 - filed I-130
09/06/2019 - filed I-485 & I-765
10/03/2019 - Fingerprints applied
11/29/2019 - I-130 transferred jurisdiction (NBC)
04/09/2020 - Case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview
04/29/2020 - At 23 days outside normal processing times, I decided to expedite through congressman due to financial loss
05/04/2020 - Expedite will being routed for expedite processing (email sent to congressman)
05/04/2020 - New card is being produced

My own personal conclusions:
Although not expressly stated, I do think LPR cases tend to be slower.
SR's don't work for **** (I did file one, but it never got assigned to anyone)
If you think of any financial reason to expedite, please do so.
Congressmen/women have a direct line to USCIS that's more powerful any of us filers can ever have.
I have the hypothesis that for LPR cases wait times are based on country applications: Countries like China, Mexico, Philippines and or Dominican Republic, due to high a amount of applications their processes take slightly longer (given the 7% quota per country under f2a). But then again that's my OWN CONCLUSION, so please don't take it as a fact.

Anyhow, I want to wish the remainder of applicants who are still waiting for their EAD very good luck, a lot of perseverance and blessings of strength. May you all have your work permits as soon as possible!

USCIS responce
Hello people,

It's me again back to update you on my case and get some advise.

Here's my timeline:

8/19/19: case received at NBC. Married to USC

8/25/19: finger prints applied

Nothing for 8 months

3/31/20: raised service request for outside normal processing times.

4/11/20: submitted case to ombudsman for case assistance.

4/13/20: contacted congressman office.

4/15/20: Ombudsman contacted USCIS about case.

4/27/20: expedite through congressman office. Job offer and letter from healthcare employer explaining the need for my services during crisis.

4/27/20: expedite request raised with USCIS.

4/27/20: ombudsman reply “case under active review. However, USCIS is unable to proved a specific timeframe for resolution of the case.

4/27/20: USCIS replies to expedite request “we received the request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or a notice of further action shortly. No request for prof of documents.

I have contacted congress and ombudsman and put in an expedite request myself yet it seems like all I'm getting is a bunch of generic responses with not real meaning. I'm not sure what I need to do at this point.

Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

Ead Expedite Timeline
Hi everyone, I’ve been watching this forum religiously to see similar timelines to know if there is any hope for us.

Our paperwork was submitted April 7th due to issues on immigration lawyers side and was initially going to be premium processing but then covid cancelled that option. We are renewing L1A, L2 and subsequent EAD.

Filed at California Center
RD: April 7
EAD Expedite Request: April 13
Request Received and completed:April 14
Received request for evidence by mail (even though it was already with submission paperwork) :April 20
Emailed evidence again that same day
Evidence Received: April 23

Lawyer submitted letter explaining situation, loss of significant income, new house just purchased months prior, and birth of baby in January. Hoping this would be enough to consider the expedite.

Since then we’ve gotten no status changes or notes on case history. How long has anyone else waited for approval or rejection at California center? Could this be a case they are working on and status could go from current state to approved and card being produced same day?

EAD has now expired and desperate to get it renewed so work may take husband back, but the longer we wait the less likely that could happen. Is there any hope we could get answer by next week?

New card being produced
Hello all, any insight/advice to my below question would be greatly appreciated : my EAD was applied way back in August and the status changed to new card being produced on Apr 13 ( this was post a SR request being raised and and completed as per my USCIS profile) , there are no further updates. Shouldn't it take just 7-10 days to mail the card? I called USCIS and they say the SR request is being looked at and it will take 60 days? It is is truly mailnge anxious. I don't understand what that means , since my profile says the SR request is completed. Also, I have received an automated mail from USCIS that the card is being produced and I can call again if I have received it in 30 days.
Please advice

Need information for New EAD Application May 2020
Hi All,

Hope, you all are doing well.
I was really a great help from immehelp.
Thanks to all members for guiding in a right direction all the time.

Currently I am holding L2 Visa, Initially I checked due to COVI19 USCIS will be operational from 3rd May'2020. Now It has changed to 4th June.

I need to apply for EAD and SSN (As both are combined now). So If I send them the Application i.e all documents and Money Order of $410 to their USCIS Dallas Lockbox, will the accept the application ?

Please suggest, as I am planning to send them all documents on 3rd May via U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

Requesting all for the guidance.

Thanks,
