USCIS processing time table
Hi Again,
I have a question about the typical processing times that USCIS publishes on their website here:
https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

For example, if I look at the NBC center, for I-765 (based on I-485) applications I see that they were processing applications from October 1 2017 at the time this table was published. What's not clear to me is when was this information updated - it seems like the website was last updated Feb 15th, but also on top of the table it says that these were the processed cases as of Dec 31st 2017 - which is correct? Is it a 3 months processing time or 4.5 months?

Thanks!!

Create account on DHS
Hi everyone!
As was recommended here I opened an account on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov to track my status. However, in order to verify my identity I need to put in a Department of State (DOS) ID - I only have tracking numbers from the I-765 and I-485 forms and no DOS ID that I know of :( Anyone knows what I should put there?

Thank you so much!

What it’s happening
Well, I did yesterday an account on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov to see more information about my case.
After I put my case number in, i checked my status:
March 9: we are producing your card and will mail it to you.
Today it changed to: we aproved your case.

So what exactly does this mean?

Thanks

Hi guys,

Here are my time line and struggle.

Called customer service : SR2 Feb 09,2018 no response
Online SR Feb 20 No response.
Went for info pass, where it was useless.
Contact with Ombudsman and Senator got response my case has expedited.
Feb 27 hit with jackpot Ref.. pain in A**
respond REf sent over night 06 March 2018/

Again contact to follow up with ombudsman and Senator.

Got a reply from Ombudsman that they issued decision has made already. But , i was confused with mail there were no details about case decision.

called to tier 2 officer today, They finally told me that my case has approved and card went for production will take 2 weeks.

I am really happy today at least after so long awaiting. Now, it is time to wait for card on hand.

There is also new website.. uscis account that you can your track in details rather then old version.

Here is the link, I recently found out and saw my card went for production.

https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ this is new website where you can track your progress of your case.

My prayers are all with you guys. Hope you will hear good news soon too.

Oct 17 filers
I have hardly seen any Oct filer I-765 approvals (for any processing centers) on here. NSC on Feb 15 posted that it was processing up to Oct 1 for I-765. Almost a month has passed and hardly any Oct filers post on here with EAD approvals?

My stats:
Receipt: 10/5
Category C9, EB2 employment based
NSC processing center
2 SRs: generic responses for both saying they needed more time

159 days and waiting.
Could other Oct 17 filers please share their experiences?

L2 EAD renewal experience
Hi all,

I would like to share my EAD renewal experience, hoping would help some one
Dec 05 2017 -Case received
Feb 22 2018 -SR1 raised after 75 days, Response " Case still in normal processing time"
March 09 2018 -SR2 raised after 90 days, before the SR was assigned to an officer, Case status was updated
Marsh 09 2018 (Evening) -New card is ordered
Currently waiting for the card to arrive

My suggestion to anyone trying to renew your EAD
* Apply for renewal 6 months before your current EAD's expiration date
* This way you could avoid any unforeseen delays

Thanks and all the best to everyone

EAD PLEASE COME TO ME!!
I am on the verge of insanity. I didn't know that just waiting for an Ead can cause this much psychological stress, like this is not good for my health!

PD: August 25
Bio metrics: Nov 29 ( time gap from PD due to complication)
SR: March 1 ( told me to call back on the 10th day if no update )
Inquiry on info regarding SR via Uscis customer service on March 12:( they told me to wait till the 30th of this month )

This is 7 months, 7 MONTHS!!! Like I can't begin to describe my feelings, this is driving me to the edge and my chest is just heavy. If you got your EAD within the 90 day or even 104 timemark, count yourself lucky!!!

EAD/Initial Evidence
Hello,
So I have filed in november 2017, category C9 and processing office is MSC. I have not received my EAD after requesting expedite and waiting for over 4 months. TOday i received a letter from USCIS asking for more initial evidence to process I-485. So my question is whether EAD processing is dependent on my other forms such as I-485 or is it processed separtely?
Thanks
