I contacted the senator regarding my case and after a couple weeks they tell me they got a generic response from USCIS. My case has been in line for less than 60 days but I really don't want to wait around and see how far they can delay me.
Anyone have experience with this? Should I wait till day 75 and contact ombudsman or make a move now?

Reaching Senator or Congressman for case assistant
Hi Guys,
I would like to know the right time to contact Senator or Congressman for case assistant on my i 765.
SR online on day 75 no response
Contacted Ombudsman on day 90
Called USCIS for inquires and the agent raised another SR since there was no response to the 1st one.
I called Ombudsman for update the lady told me it has been assigned to their analyst to contact USCIS which I believe is the standard response because I've called and got the same response before. Now i am thinking of contacting another agency, The wait is really frustrating couple with the fact that its never updated. Please advice, any suggestion is welcome.

Maybe giving hope to others who are waiting longer then us.
we filed, had biometrics, and just been sitting and waiting...
We are working with an attorney,We paid her 2500 for her fee, I asked if we should contact Ombudsman and she hasn't responded.
She have inquired once in January.
Should we take things into our own hands? I'm worried, I don't want to do the wrong thing and have to wait longer.
Are there consequences for contacting about our case?

I called USCIS 3/6/18 and they opened an inquiry... said I should hear from them in 5-7 days with an update.
What is the ombudsman? Does that provide updates?

I had my interview 4 days ago every thing went wel, all questions what io asked was answered correct. l just remember end of the interview the officer let me sign a official paper.. l don't know what that paper is?

Praise God finally card in hand
I'm August 1,NBC married to USC, I got my card in hand few mins ago, I'm so excited after 220 days, have really lose hope on EAD, but I thank God it finally happen, everyone that still waiting hang it there is coming but remember to contact ur senator and ombudsman they really help on my case and be prayerful as well, see u all on I485 forum

Received a email from my congresswomen and it says we received the response from USCIS and in the response says : This case will be routed for expedited processing. Once this case is reviewed, your constituent will receive a decision.
Does that mean I am almost done ???
Any opinions will be appreciated.
