Hey everyone I receive my ead card but it came back with a typo error for example its say Jane Smith instead of Jane Thomas-Smith i took it to the ad office anyways and they didn't give me any problems so I went to DMV to apply for a ID card and i show the lady my paper work she said that the card have to match the name on my marriage certificate I was so bomb because i was there for over 3 hours so k said ok i left and I call uscis and told them so they put in a SR and they hang up so yesterday I went to another DMV just to see if they would say the same thing lucky enough they didn't I got through and my ID will be mail to me . Today got a mail from USCIS saying if the card has an error and if I think its wrong to return it with some other some other document to make sure so what do I do leave it as it is being I got through at the dmv and SS office or will it be a problem help and thanks in advance

After waiting for 156 days i called uscis tier 2 to expedite my case. On same day my uscis case history page shows, your request to have your case expedited, referal number ......was completed. What next?
Will they asked for any supporting documents why to expedite the case? i already waited for more than 5 months, was this not enough to expedite my case. Anyone after requesting to expedite the case got approval without submitting additional documents? Please share your experience and opinion.

Since it been 136 days I was tired of waiting thanks to this page I find out about ombudsmen office
And fill online application to day I get answer email from them it says uscis already make decision on my case and I will receive it with in 15 days in so happy thank you guys hope I will get my EAD in this days good luck for all who waiting.

Case under review
Hi everyone,
Yesterday I received a letter stating that my case in under review and that I should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly. They responded to my service request on March 3rd, which is kinda odd because it was on Saturday. But I'm grateful they responded anyway.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back from them?

Decision was mailed
On March 8, 2018, we denied your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number Yxxxxxxx. We mailed you a decision notice that explains why we denied your case and your options. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your denial notice by March 23, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. is there any other way to reopen the case.

I have been silently and patiently watching this form for a few months now. I was hoping to keep silent until I get good news and share me experience with everyone. Alas, the unexpected has occurred.
I will keep the little details out this post, as I am in the midst of freaking-out phase, and I will come back to share the final experience when it is completed...
After waiting for 130 days, and as I was randomly checking all my cases statuses, I saw an update on my I-485 application! It said
"On March 6, 2018, we mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC189015 YYYY . The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires....etc"
I freaked out, and I am still freaking out, as I am not sure what it is for and whether or not it will affect my I-765. So I have a few concerns:
1) I know that I did not send my medical examination, because it mentioned on the USCIS website it is not required to be filled right away.. etc. Do you think this RFIE might be for the medical examination?
2) If so, does this affect the processing of my I-765?
3) In any case, would this RFIE reset the clock on my I-765?

Under review, how much longer?

I start to lose hope again and called customer service this afternoon, and of course there is no decision made yet and they pretty much told me whatever I can see on my online profile.
I'd like to know if any similar experience do you guys have and how much longer I will have to wait. I had a trip planned at the end of this month going back to my country, and a combo card is in need. Please help. Thanks

Ombudsman is the best
Two days after my card was being produced , ombudsman sent me an email to let me know that uscis took a decision about my case. They needs my feedback.
