After EAD
Hey everyone
I was applying online for jobs after receiving the note that my card is being processed, i hope it will not take another 5 months to be mailed..
I always stop on this question in any application, what’s my status might be now ??
Am i a resident alien? Or non resident non alien? Or what?
In which category I should be ??

EAD Card mailed
On January 29, new card is being produced.
On February 1st, card mailed.
In case you want to know how long it will take them to mail card after approval.

Submitted (EAD) inquiry through Senator's Office
My I-765 received date is October 25, 2017 and I submitted an 'approaching regulatory time frame' inquiry on 1/11/18 and a service request on 1/30/18. I also contacted my U.S. Senator for help on inquiring about my case on 1/30/18 explaining that I have a job offer and the application has passed the recommended 90 days. Hopefully, I will receive my approval notice soon before I lose the position.

EAD in 5 Months & 4 Days
So .... Finally I got APPROVED !!! Yeayyyyy!
To sum up my case and to share my experience with those who are still waiting... here goes :
So to begin with, I would say I was unlucky somehow because I think my case got overlooked or got piled into a messed up stack.

1 Dec I went to see my congressman and their inquiry to USCIS helped to nudge them to look into my case and only then they realized, oops... we need RFE.
RFE : 20 Dec 2017
USCIS received RFE : 10 Jan 2018
Contacted Ombudsman on 11 Jan and they replied by 18 Jan that they have sent an inquiry.
On 25 Jan I called USCIS to expedite my case. Then on 26 Jan I checked my status online, it says as of 24 Jan my case has been approved! yippieeee......
Today, 1 Feb the card is finally in my hands!!!
So, unfortunately for me, I had to wait for FIVE MONTHS & FOUR DAYS before I could get my hands on this card. I used to get so envious of those that got it under 3 months... oh well... I am just grateful and happy that I can live a normal life now.
I would say to those out there, please do contact your congressman.... and if that doesnt work, then try Ombudsman.... it really does help. Otherwise, I would be still waiting ....

Made a service request
So it’s been 92 days and I called USCIS just find out what I could about my case. The customer rep was so nice and so helpful. She told me to give them 15 days for a reply and if I don’t get one, to call them back. She also told me that my adjustment of status case is at my field office. So I’m guessing that’s at least decent news! PD November 1st.

EAD returned as undeliverable
I have applied for EAD in Sept 2017 and card was mailed on Nov 12,2017 and marked as undeliverable on Nov22,2017.
It was sent back in Nov,2017 and I raised the service request on the same day(Nov 20,2017) and i got a response on Dec 5,2017 that they will re-mail within 45 days. But they didn't mailed it and I waited for another 10 days and raised another SR for which i got a response that they will re-mail within 90-120 days.
Please help me getting the solution what i can do and get my EAD soon.

Ead card being produced
Thanks guys this forum has been so helpful, pd-oct 2,2017, bio-oct 25, rfe-oct 27, replied rfe nov 8, raised sr after 90 told to wait 30 days I couldn’t wait kept on calling and requesting assistance with my case that didn’t help,finally contacted ombudsman online for expedite,got back a notice saying I need to proof a reason for wanting my case to be expedite, I faxed them a letter and some bills I needed to pay,Jan 31-new card is being produced finally after 121 days,keep the faith guys!!!

182 days with no card
I don't really know what to do now. I have been waiting for 182 days, but nothing.

Does anyone here had your EAD approved even with a RFE?
My RFE is not about my i485 or my i765. It is for my i360 and it is Request of adittional evidence.
I was told that it doesn’t delay the EAD processing time but I would like to know if there is a real case here.
I filled in October 23 2017 at VSC under category c9
Biometrics done December 1st and got update online yesterday on my i360 form RFE
