Update on i485
Praise God, my i485 updated, tonight from fingerpring fee was recieved to case is ready to be schedule for interview, but still no news on my EAD, still stuck on case was recieved, PD August 1,2017 NBC, 178days Today, please can anybody share there experience how long it take for case to be schedule after it says case is ready to be schedule, all ur experience will be appreciated thanks to u all

Today I got an online update saying "employment authorization application closed, because applicant received a status or benefit through other means". My i-485 is still pending, no interviews yet, no green card nothing - I have no idea what is going - has anyone had this experience before? Any ideas? Please help and share.

File for OPT while waiting for i486 EAD c9
Hi,
Does anyone know if it's okay to file OPT while waiting for EAD based on i485 (c9)?
Specifically,
1. Does asking the school to issue a new I-20 for OPT have a negative impact on your i485 based EAD (since the i-20 issued for OPT is not included with the package sent for EAD based i485)
2. Will this possibly give a nudge to the time it takes to get your EAD based on i485 or no effect at all?
3. Does filing i765 based on OPT while waiting for your i765 previously filed with i485 have any negative impact at all? Has anyone done that? I can't find a concrete answer other than "your opt will likely be rejected..."

Hi Every one, I submitted a application for work since 9/7/2017: Case Approved. Since that day, i never received any notification, normally it should take 90 days. I already raised 2 Service Request once, and did another one, because each SR last 30 days. Now my next step is to have an appointment at the local office which i already set up, to know what's happening. After that appointment, depend on what the circumstances i will see my congresswoman to put more pressure on it. My case is way outside normal process time. its been 4 months waiting this damn card. Will keep inform you guys about my case.

EAD i765 Card Production Delay
Hello Everyone,
Below is my timeline for i765 initial OPT application
10/19 - Application Received
01/18 - "New Card being produced"
But since then there is no status change. I am just curious because normally it takes 3-4 business days to get the status change to "Card being mailed" and another 3-4 days to get the EAD in hand.
Can anyone please share their experience if it took long time for initial OPT EAD in production.
