Expiring EADs will automatically extend for up to 180 days
Hello all,
I have a news that may be helpful for some of us. Yesterday I went to USCIS office and the officer told me that as of 01/17/2017, certain expiring EADs will automatically extend for up to 180 days. I didn't know that until yesterday and helped me to save my job for another 180 days. Below is the website that he told me. I hope it helps and good luck to all.

EAD extension
Dear all,
I have a question regarding extension of EAD.
my I-140 was approved on 11/16
EAD and AP combo card received in 03/17 which is valid till 02/28/18
I have a valid H1-B status till 02/2019. I applied for EAD just in case I wanted to change the employer
However, I traveled outside the country using my AP and was paroled back in US on 12/05 until 12/18/18 (one year)
My I-485 is pending since 12/27/16
Now I want to apply for extension of my EAD and not sure what is my status now and on which status I entered the country.
According to my attorney, as soon as I use AP, my H1-B becomes null and void and I switch to I-485 pending status
According to my employers attorney, as long as I have a valid H1-B and do not change the employer, status will remain H1-B regardless how I entered the country (using AP or VISA stamp).

Does someone has the similar experience?
Could someone advice me what to do here, who to believe?

thanks

EAD still not recieved since 10/16
I applied for my spouse I-130 in 2016 it was approved well my spouse has yet to received his authorization for work we did move to another state( we changed the address) we have paid every fee and he was recently laid off due to not providing this document. Immigration claims they sent this to the old address yet I find that to be not true bc we have received mail since moving. Today they stated we might have to apply again? This is so confusing I don’t understand why this process has been going 2 years now. I was originally thinking it would be a 90 day wait.... is there someone who can shed light on this.....

OPT EAD status shows case was received for more than 82 days
Hello all,
I have applied for OPT-EAD and the case was received by USCIS on November 2. Its been more than 82 days and my status still doesn't change. I talked to the USICS customer care and they filed a Service request and was assigned to an officer. I currently have a Job opportunity but i need to provide my EAD. Has anyone faced any similar issues or has anyone received their EAD filed in November.
Thanks.
