Losing It
Im seriously considering ending this immigration journey my self. I have seriously thought of going back to canada within the next month. This is just ridiculous , being at home 24/7 with no means of transportation unless i beg my husband, no friends, no family, no job, no license, is it all worth it? this is the first time in my life that ive felt like a nobody. im so used to being independent and only coming home to sleep. I love working, i love soicializing,being with family, and this is something i cant do anymore because of USISC. and to make matters worse, me and my husband argue almost everyday because im moody and depressed 90% of the time, and he cant put himself in my shoes.
This all feels like a big blur, i know i may sound bratty, but im sure a lot of people here are going through the same thing as me. Hopefully with time this will all pass, and ill look back and see my struggle. Im praying for everyone that is sufferring because of this, this is really upsetting.

Still awaiting EAD, approaching 75 days
Hi All,
First of all i would like to say this has been one of the many calming places to read about AOS/EAD etc, and to all that have received ANYTHING from USCIS.. congratulations.
I would like to find out if there are any November 2017 filers? And if so how is your process going so far?
I know it was barely November but Ive been doing this for a while now (first waiting for husband to naturalize, now awaiting my own to be completed) but not being able to do anything but wait for the mailman to arrive is driving me insane.

Raised expedite Request 12/22/2017 - Replied 6 days later saying they will make a decision shortly (bull **** )
Made two Service requests 01/12/2018 and 01/17/2018 ---- no replies
Contacted Congressman 12/27/2017 - They replied and requested to the expedite.. USCIS did not reply it..and I have not heard back from them.
Contacted Ombudsman - They said they have a lot of cases and that they would eventually get to mine (they won't..let's not beat around the bush)
Contacted the Senators office today! 01/19/2017. We shall see how that goes.

New card being produced!
I think this forum is lucky, because I just posted for the first time yesterday and JUST received an update that my card is being produced. As I mentioned in my first post, the T2 office did not offer me any help except to say that I may need to wait 6 mos (this was yesterday).
None of my service requests were ever assigned to an officer there were 3)...two by me and one by my attorney on the 90 day mark.
My congresswoman never wrote me back.
99 days later and it's finally approved. Everyone, hang in there. I was VERY discouraged and depressed as well. I feel your pain as that was me less than 10 minutes ago, and the 99 days before that. Don't feel bad if your service requests are not answered.
Wishing you all peace of mind this weekend as I know how unsettling this process is.

Receive Biometric appointment : nov 25 for
dec 5 appointment at 9 am. But i went to uscis today nov 18 and walked in and lucky there were only two people there and i was in and out for only 5 minutes.
Dec 3 : request for an emergency advance parole(my mother passed away and had to go to the philippines for her funeral along with my husband) they issued my good for 1 month advance parole
Jan 9 : submitted an expedite request due to severe financial loss
Jan 10 : assigned to an officer and sent a response (asking for proof)
Jan 11 : faxed documents along with job offer to the uscis number. Same day i seek help from ombudsman by filling out the form for request on der website.
I tried asking for help from congressman of garland tx but they told me they don’t handle ead expedite case. Called uscis several times tier 1 and tier 2 offcier if they received any docs but i didnt get any answer from them. They just told me to wait.
Jan 18 : received an email from ombudsman saying that they also submitted an expedite request of my ead.
Jan 19 : few minutes ago i got a txt/email (that my card is being produced) I am really stressed because the company where i got my job offer notified me that today is the last day for me to provide a work authorization and with Gods grace i finally got it.
Don’t hesitate to seek help from senator or ombudsman.
