Hello All,
I filled my EAD renewal on Nov 3, 2017. But my case status hasn't changed yet and it has been around 81 days. Please let me know should I submit an inquiry or not. As some people here have suggested that submitting inquiry may further delay the processing. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have never submitted any inquiry in my previous EADs and I have mostly received them within 2 months time frame.

Ombudsman closed
I got an email this morning stating the ombudsman office is closed now due to government shut down.
another reason why im just ready to pack up all leave

No Ombudsman for a while now
CIS Ombudsman Online Case Assistance will be unavailable as of January 20, 2017. This site will not be active until the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman resume operations upon conclusion of the funding hiatus. It’s insane
It’s been 311 days since I filed
I haven’t received nothing, Yes I put in a request form.
But that didn’t change anything
I don’t know what to do anymore , on their website it stil says 90 days processing but 311 days

USCIS Time Frame
He is my experience so far in Atlanta.
Applied for EAD renewal 8/17/17 - Inquiry 12/14 - no response
I 485 Interview 9/19/17
Was told I needed I 601 - Filed 11/7/17.
Have not received any notification on EAD renewal even though it's been 5 months.
Any one have experience on time frame for response on I 601?

August EAD
Hey everyone.. I noticed that everyone getting there work piremt within the 90 days and some people before. Except July and specially august they waiting at least 6 months to get there EAD .. I saw most of September October and November got there EAD already.. that's pretty weird.. can you July and august fillers share your experience here please.i just want to make sure . What's going on with July and august fillers

EAD approved after 245 days
I am posting this to try help someone or give hope.
I filled my application in the 1st week of May.
I did my biometrics in the 1st week of June.
then after that nothing. On the 8th August, i put in a SR; nothing, just says my case is under review
8th of September i put in another SR, gave the same response.
8th of November, at the 6 months mark, i called and a very nice level 2 officer told me it shouldn't have taken this long and filled an expedite, i was so excited when she told me i will get a response in 5 days, well i got a response, but all it said was that my case was under review.
On the 8th January (8 months mark), i contacted Ombusdman by filling in this form https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx).
11th January - I received an update about my EAD approval.
12th January - Your Card is in Production
18th January - We sent your card to the address provided
20th January - Card in hand.
This had a very very adverse effect on my life and my marriage, my husband never envisioned that things will get this hard. There were times we contemplated just scrapping everything, we'd argue a lot because i was now becoming a big big burden. But i am just happy its all over as regards work authorisation.
My husband will take me to apply for my SSN so i can try find work.
If your relationship is worth it, just stick it through and be patient.
We are patiently waiting for our interview to be scheduled, but this alone is a big big weight off our shoulder and a big weight off our marriage/relationship.
I wish everyone good luck and will definitely recommend contacting OMBUDSMAN.
