Hi all,
Great information from the posts here thank you.
I did a quick assessment of 7 cases on some dates shared... namely Biometrics to Card Issue and found some similarities.
80, 80, 79, 73, 85 and a superfast of 50 Days
So I am looking at end of August for mine as biometrics on 6/5/2017.
Hope that helps someone... I'll update when mine changes

Anyone in Maryland with a recent update? it has been 4 months waiting and after raising 3 service request,they have been no reply other than the email they send stating it is under review. tried everything to no avail. any advise ?

I lost my job due to OPT delay. Has this happen to anyone else?
This happened in 2013. I had a job offer, but my OPT did not come in time, so they pulled the offer. Has this happen to anyone else due to delay of OPT?

This is inhuman
So not only did I have to wait 150 days for my clock to be running but I am also waiting 116 days as of today for my EAD. What the hell are these immigration officers thinking? No one can go that long without a job. They need their job so they can feed their family, ME the f**king TOO. This is not my country but laws are Universal. I need to know what the hell is going on with my EAD, I should have known at 90 days! Ugh......

I have been following this forum for a while to see about timelies now I want to share my experience with you guys.
As you guys can see below I called USCIS to ask about my case because it was going to complete 90 days since they received my application and I had a job offer by the time.
For some reason they didn't restart the clock, I'm glad they didnt, even they sent me a RFIE.
Now I'm happy that I got my EAD and I can finally work. I hope this help and cause some relief for those who are desperate like I was.
Mar 27 - Received my application
Apr 14 - request for initial evidence for I-485
Apr 25 - Biometric appointment
Apr 26 - USCIS received reply for RFIE
Jun 15 - request for initial evidence for I-485
Jun 27 - USCIS received reply for RFIE
Jun 29 - I Called to open a SR
Jul 05 - Inquire assigned to an officer for response / response sent to inquire about status / inquire was completed
Jul 08 - New card was ordered
Jul 11 - Card was mailled
Jul 14 - Card was received

I just check the processing time of Nebraska center ..it says they are working on cases of May 16/ 2017.....my case was received on May/11/2017 ....but when I check the status ..it says " case was received " ..nothing change ...anyone has a clue about how processing time works ? anyone who applied on late April or early May received the EAD ?

I filed asylum request on Dec/11/2017 , done the biometric 2 weeks after ..then I had to wait 180 without work or the allowance to apply for EAD as they require all asylum applicants ...am I correct on that ?
On May 11/2017 USCIS received my application for EAD - in the website it says it should NOT exceed 30 days to get the initial EAD for pending asylum because asylum applicants have to wait 180 days without work authorization.
now it's 67 days and my status for the EAD is " case was received " I don't KNOW what to do , I have no money now ...all the money I have I spent on attorney and rent , food , bills
I had a car accident on May/ 24 /2017 ..it was the other person's fault but many hospital refused to continue giving me treatment because they don't like to bill third party and prefer billing my insurance but I didn't have a personal injury coverage ....
what should I do , I did E request last Monday and heard nothing...I have a job interview tomorrow WHAT do you guys suggest me to tell them ? should I tell them it's coming within 2 weeks ?

what do you do while waiting??
i just wonder how are you guys surviving all this waiting period without work? or do you work for cash? if get caught working for cash without EAD will it affect in the future the process?
i'm so frustrated and broke, i don't know how they expect us to live without work for all this period!!! i know there's always a chance to work for cash but there's also a chance to go rob a bank, it will be more lucrative and both are illegal jobs!
