I797C Missing Class Requested
Hi Friends,
I filed for I-765 on early March 2017 and still says "is in process". I did apply for SR as well.
And I recently knew about Automatic EAD Extension for 180 days. My I-765 Renewal Application Class Requested do fall under the Eligible Automatic EAD Extension but my problem is the Class Requested is missing from my I797C which i think is weird.
I also called USCIS Help line, and they had no answer about it and told me to check with my employer.
Do any one of you had this experience or know about it. Thank you so much

Biometrics Appointment 05/05/2017 at St. Paul, MN
Day 95 without news, USCIS Online Case Status remained "Case Received" for i 765, i 131, and "Fingerprint Fee Received" for i 485. I sent a service request on 06/26/2017 for my i 765 and they emailed me to wait for a response until July 8. June 30, 2017, they emailed me that my case is now assigned to an officer. My online status changed the same for my i765 (only).
Question is, how long will they review my case after this. Does anybody have the same experience?

Hello everyone.
I recently filed and my application was sent to NBC. I know they are running waaay behind and people are waiting more than 140 days.
In an effort to stay ahead of the situation, I was wondering what updates the website usually shows for I-765
Does it go from "Case was received" to "Card sent to Production" or is there something like "Your case is under review" that I should look out for to let me know that they are working on my case.
To specify, I am talking about the EAD application, form I-765.
Also, in your experience, is it better to submit SR online or by calling them?

I was so happy on my graduation thinking that I will get a better job and cant wait to enter normal profesional life as the days gose I feel very bad about my recent condition with Health and financial difficulty. I am so lucky to have my partner who is always motivating me and taking care of me in this situation of my life.
Note: I have a lawyer for this case and we are paying her agreed installment for every month but I am loosing hope as she is not good in communicating about the case and updates.

Hi, I applied for my marriage base 485 on March 24th, did my biometrics and now my status has been: ready to be scheduled for an interview. It has been like that since May 17.
Any ideas o when they would send me the appointment? I am in California.

Can someone work with L2 EAD renewal receipt

My L2 EAD is expiring on 8/3/2017. I have applied for a renewal (expedited as well) on 6/14. Based on the current trend, it doesn't look like I will receive the renewed EAD before 8/3 and hence I have reached out to my current employer. Both HR and legal team advised that I can work on the L2 EAD renewal receipt for 90 days after expiry and I found a similar statement in the following link as well:

Can someone advise what should I do? Per my knowledge we are not supposed to work without a EAD and I don't want to get into any legal trouble for a few weeks.
Please let me know the latest rules/ updates on this.

I have a quick consultation to make, so I had a student visa for 5 years and did my OPT at the end of my program which allowed me to get an EAD (which is now expired), and also got a SSN. After two years I changed my status and my new card is now in production, my question is, if my name changed slightly do I need to get a new SSN? Thank you.
