SR DOES WORKS!!
Hello everyone! Finally got good news!

Here is my timeline

I'm adjusting my status under eligibility category c09, so here is my timeline

03/13/2017: all forms were accepted
03/17/2017: biometrics fee accepted
03/25/2017: ASC appointment notice
04/03/2017: RFIE for Form I-485
04/11/2017: Biometrics appointment / done
04/17/2017: Received response to Request for Evidence

07/03/2017: Day 77 call USCIS for an SR
07/05/2017: "New card is being produced"

On Monday I called USCIS for an SR, day 77 after RFIE and day 112 since my PD. And explained to the officer that I'm running out of money and it's been longer than expected, it's been so hard for me not been able to make any money for the last months and spend all our savings with my husband. The officer said that she was putting a request on my case, (Tuesday was 4th of July and they didn't work) and on Wednesday I got an update saying my card is being produced!! Which surprised me so much, I can't believe that just happened.
According of what I have been reading around here, it will take a couple of days to mailed, so hopefully my EAD will be here next week! Fingers crossed!

Wishing all of you good luck and stay strong that we are almost there! One day more is a day less!
God bless you all

EAD I-765, Nebraska (MSC), under K1 AOS
Hello,

I recently had a positive update on my EAD application, so thought I'd share in case it helps others at all. I'm applying for 485 under a K1 visa after marriage along with a concurrent EAD 765 application (eligibility c9). my green card application hasn't changed, but my EAD has:

Received (Nebraska): April 21st
Notice date: April 24th
Biometrics: May 17th
Expedition request: June 22nd (financial hardship)
Request for information letter: June 26th
Faxed supporting evidence: June 27th
Card being produced: July 6th (Day 76)

Just to note, the request for supporting information was related solely to the expedition request, not my overall EAD, so wasn't an "RFE' as such.

My request to expedite was based on financial hardship. My wife had received an IRS bill for $7000, plus out of pocket medical bills totalling nearly $1000 in the past 6 weeks, plus I received an offer of a job. Faxed off the bills and job offer.

I'm due to start my job on the 17th, so here's hoping my card arrives in time!

Good luck to those still waiting for a status change, I know how horrible an experience it is with week after week of inactivity.

Hi, everyone.

I'm new to this board, and like everyone else here, I'm seeking clarity on the immigration process. Here's our background:

I'm a native-born American citizen. My husband is an Austrian citizen with a Master's degree in a STEM field. He came to the U.S. on a K-1 visa on 2/10/17. We were married on 4/22/17. Now, we are awaiting his adjustment of status. We've also requested a work visa, as well as advanced parole.

TIMELINE:
2/10/17 - Enter the U.S. on K1 visa.
4/22/17 - Married.
4/24/17 - Application package submitted via overnight delivery.
5/10/17 - Notice of receipt sent.
6/3/17 - Biometrics appointment scheduled.
6/14/17 - Biometrics completed.
6/21/17 - USCIS case tracker updated to indicate they are ready to schedule an interview for I-485. Our other two forms show no movement, other than that they've been received and are in process.

To date, we haven't received any additional information. Our international honeymoon is scheduled for August 22, 2017, and we were assured by two attorneys that we should have plenty of room to receive advance parole document.

Any guidance would be immensely appreciated. We live in D.C., neither of us have been married before and we have no children. We figure our case is pretty cut-and-dry, so we are hopeful that things move at a reasonable pace.
